Excellent coffee and a delicious baked caramel sweet, in addition to a very friendly barista. I did like as well that there seems to be a focus on offering reusable cups / encouraging their use - very good = every cup avoided helps :)
I had a delicious coconut milk flat white quickly made for me after I stopped on my way passed. So glad I stopped in. Love all the Tania Tupu jewels as well!
I had a small latte. No sugar. First coffee of the day when it opened at 7am. On a wet and windy Wednesday morning. I had already been on a zoom call with Canada for half an hour at the beach. It was an embracing oasis. I sat at the singular table outside and my coffee was delivered to me. Nice chap who I assume appreciated I was on a call and knew I needed minimal interaction. But as I took my call I saw him have friendly banter with dog walkers and tradies alike who came to him to help start their days. Not all heroes wear capes.
Always a good cuppa from Aloha. We usually like getting either a cappucino or hot choccy or both. This place consistently does a beautiful hot choccy - the best I’ve had in Porirua. Also recommend trying the salted caramel donut in their cabinet - its divine! They also allow you to byo cups and have their own mugs for you to use to help with waste. To top it off, the cafe doubles as a small gallery that sells beautiful jewellery snd homeware.

Very cute spot right off the beach. The lady running the place was super friendly and obviously knew the locals well!! The coffee was delicious (probably because they use Raglan beans) and the price was great. We will come again if we’re in the area again.
