“Oh wow, I’ve couldn’t asked for more… The food blew my expectations with a mix of both gourmet and the pub grub that comforts the belly. Ordering was a breeze (thanks Rosie!!) the food arrived faster than my typical “fast food” visit, and the atmosphere at the quiz was like I was playing The Chase with Bradley Walsh. “We regularly come here with the kids, extended family and friends! We love the outdoor but undercover section. It’s warm even on a cold day! We so appreciate the kids area and try to book a table near it! The staff are always friendly, quick and efficient! We have several food allergies with the kiddos and it’s never been a problem here! Kids love it! The only negative is that there is not a dairy free option for kids dessert eg only soft serve. Would be fabulous to have another option even ice blocks.”

“We often stay at the nova tel when in Wellington so we do dinner at the caucus restaurant Only a small menu but seasonal and changes offer Tonight was breads and dip, scotch fillet with a side of short rib The scotch was ever so slightly over done for me but still good and the short rib was amazing melt in your mouth We got the sides of pumpkin , carrots and chips And finished it off with the pistachio cake Good food and good service from Noee and Mereana”

“This place is AWESOME. The food was outstanding, and beautifully cooked. The only let down is the photos on the menu doesnt do there food justice. They paid for a professional shoot but what they got looks like a 5 year old took the pics. If the photographer is reading this feedback...do the right thing and set it right oh yeah and give yourself 10000000 upper cuts. Staff were awesome as well. Well done team, ill definately will be coming back for sure.”

“Celebrated my sisters bday here as a first table and the service was 12/10 probably the best we have ever had. Even tho we arrived late and asked to take leftovers, the waiter was super hospitable. The waiter was super kind the food was really good too the club sandwich being a highlight.”
