“Thank you to the owner, lovely daughter and their friend in the Twisted Willow Florist today. I had such a humble budget but was treated with the utmost respect and warmth. I thank you for that. Also I appreciated the serenity shown after attending to a very unpleasant situation just before I arrived. Excellent customer service, pricing and warmth … & then there was the superb bouquet! Chris Black”

“Great food and very fast service. It's smaller than most cafes inside of Palmers so does get full quick during peak times. Great spot for people that love avocado as they are always generous with any dish that has it. Nice spot for an afternoon catchup in the sun.”

“You can find the smallest of knick knacks, art & craft, simple hardware that you need there. Extremely fun place to be. It is organised enough as a place without being too 'frilly'. Baskets/trolleys for customers available as it is a big warehouse place.”

“Purchased multiple times from build a birthday they are great! We have only ever had one slight issue with misprinted text which they quickly took accountability for and rectified. Exactly what a business should be like. Will continue to purchase and support them for all our family’s cake and party needs. Great communication and customer service also!”

“Thanks so much to the young lady in there whose wealth of knowledge helped me buy a Snapper card today. First time on wellies transport and from out of town with a temporarily broken down vehicle. Told me how to use it, register, and how much I'd need to put on it to get back to my vehicle in Waikanae. Top service. See you again.”

“One of my favorite stores in wellington, I love going in here whether I'm buying plants or just to look at them, it's a great experience every time. Staff are incredibly helpful, I'm not super knowledgeable about plants but they're always very good at explaining to me which ones would be best and how to look after them. Great prices for what you're getting, I've bought a few plants from here and they're all doing great. Highly recommend ❤️”

“Not only created a beautiful bloom for my mum's birthday, but went above and beyond to fix the problem when they realised I'd selected 'pick up myself' even though I live in Australia. Thank you for your patience and your lovely work!”

“Henri and the team were fantastic to deal with and did an amazing job with an emblem for my car that I needed. Thank you so much! I will be back to purchase gifts for family member’s birthdays and Xmas also.”

“Great service, brilliant range of teas, cups and pots. Reasonably priced too.”

“Just wow! I sent Aimee a picture of a bouquet I liked on pinterest, whilst in the UK and planning my NZ wedding. I never imagined collecting something so beautiful. She was professional and prompt, despite it being the Christmas period and I would not hesitate to recommend her. Just wonderful and beyond what I had hoped for.”

“Awesome plant selection and a beautiful shop in the heart of Newtown!”

“Jenni is an absolute angel. She wanted to make sure someone was home to get the flowers and offered to drop them in the evening. When no one was home (poor planning on my part) she left them in water tucked away safe and sound on the porch as per my request. Really decent price for such a gorgeous bouquet would highly recommend! :)”

“Great people, great service. Ran in at the last minute to get a friend something by means of condolence and to brighten up a difficult time. Needed them delivered same day. Same afternoon actually. All sorted and done, no problems. Will use again. Support your local. Highly recommended. (Actual pic of flowers delivered)”
