Great produce, even better staff. Left my debt card behind after shopping there. Got a call 5 min later saying they had it. All sorted quickly and politely. Great spot!
An excellent place for kitchen supplies (upstairs) and also bulk household supplies (downstairs). For food, I primarily shop at Commonsense, but Moore Wilson’s is an excellent complement to them. Excellent cheese selection and a really wide variety of speciality food items. I hope they stick around forever because Wellington would really not be the same without them.
This was my first time visiting Moore Wilson, and I absolutely loved the variety of products and delicatessen they offer. I’ll definitely be coming back to discover more new things to try!
Moore Wilson’s is hands down one of Wellington’s best-kept secrets—if you know, you know! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an incredible selection of fresh produce, gourmet ingredients, specialty imports, and everything in between. The quality is consistently top-tier, and the staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. The atmosphere is clean, organised, and buzzing with energy. The fresh bakery items are outstanding, the meat and seafood counters are always well-stocked and pristine, and the artisan cheese and wine selection is unmatched in the city. It’s a food lover’s paradise—and whether you’re a chef, home cook, or just someone who appreciates great food, Moore Wilson’s is a must-visit. Wellington wouldn't be the same without it!
A bit pricey, but the products are always fresh and good quality. Well stocked, also pretty range of International food. They also have freshly squeezed orange juice, highly recommend.
A wellington staple. Amazing range of international and niche foods. Bulk section is well stocked and has incredible prices!! $13 for 5kg of pasta, wow. Will be back.
The Supermarket is quite huge and has all the fresh vegetables, fruits and dairy. It also has the bread, buns and other bakery items. Lots of groceries. Its a bit too expensive but worth the price. It also has separate sections for wines, beers and spirits.
You really have to know your wares if you want to get the real price for items. They stock a good range of 'Made in Japan' ceremics and other certain well renowned brands. The customer service is a real hit or miss also, siding more towards a miss. This, however, is purely isolated in the hardware department. The produce section is holding up all positive relations.
