“Lovely little daycare. Smaller and more intimate, but still large enough for my son to get plenty of exposure to different things. I feel fully comfortable leaving my son in their care. He started at 2 years old and loves it. They were amazing getting him started with a week integration and taking the time and care to make sure he was comfortable. Now he has gained so much confidence, he calls out his friends by name, is getting his colours and shapes and is developing such an amazing personality. They include me in regular updates, so I feel like I am still very much part of it all.”

“Our family has had a really positive experience with Kindercare Tawa, my son has been coming here for 18 months since the age of 1. He has a great connection with all his kaiako, they have been excellent with scaffolding our sons learning and in all their communications with us. I trust that my son feels safe and loved in their care. Our family has been through some change lately with baby #2 on the way, and kindercare have made us feel extra supported in navigating the transition into maternity leave and to being a 2 child family. They have made sure that kindercare continues to be a safe and consistent space for my son. “Fantastic, community spirited, learning environment for our tamariki. Awesome qualified teacher to child ratios which means I go to work and don't worry about my babies. It's small enough that our kids know the names of all the other kids and teachers there so they feel part of a larger family. Management are always available and always ask for parents to feedback on their ideas or plans. They are also really invested in PD for the staff so willing to keep learning and develop skills to support our tamariki.”

“Tobias also known as Tobey the guy who works in the garden section is always very helpful when I ask questions about plants and bulbs ,seeds . I find the prices and staff so much better than going to a normal garden center .”

“Peninsula Early Learning has been such a supportive environment for both my daughter and our whānau. The kaiako are all incredible teachers and so kind. They always have the child’s interest at the forefront of decisions. The ratios are great and the weekly nature walk programme and quarterly trips exceeded my expectations. My daughter absolutely loves being able to explore the local beaches or community on these trips. We have loved being part of the preschool community and feel very lucky to have found this beautiful space for our tamariki.”

“We love it here at our local Playcentre. So many learning opportunities for our Littles and a lovely community feeling amongst the parents. Great outdoor areas, and a nice big space inside, and on the fully covered and enclosed deck area. We are so glad we joined.”

“Our daughter goes here. We feel that it's a very supportive environment with a high teacher to child ratio where each childs needs and interests are treated individually. The environment (inside and outside) are beautiful and natural. A large villa space converted, with soft colours and a wood fire. Outside has mature trees with shade, lots of birds and a good space to explore. Fully recommend this kindy for any child!”

“I saw about 8 early childhood centres before I found this one, and it was a clear winner. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of teachers - they have such positive attitudes, with a huge love for learning that they share with everyone around them (including me). They talk to children rather than at them. My 20 month old loves it there.”

“This place has accommodated my kids and I am grateful, staff are so kind and nice. The place is spacious and heaps of educational toys for kids, my kids had learned a lot in the school. Brooklyn Kids is now Busy Bee. They have some parking spaces and there are several stores around.”

“Today I witnessed a verbally aggressive man try bully the only staff member in the store. The staff member handled the situation well. The aggressive man left before the police got there. The salesman was calm and cool afterwards. He's a credit to Toyworld.”
