Great little place, with easy parking. The entry staff was informative and saved me time wandering around the store looking for 1 particular item. Check-out was seamless.
the staffs 2 women are awful and very rude in front of the customer. They laughed at me with very rude way probably because I am Asian. They are both at checked out service. (an Elder woman and a young woman).
β Excellent Service at Kmart! I went to Kmart to exchange an item but had lost my receipt. Chinnu was incredibly helpful β she went the extra mile to find my transaction even though I had the wrong date. Her patience and dedication made the whole process so easy. Super service β thank you, Chinnu!
The store was a complete bomb site. There was stock scattered everywhere, hard to find things, hardly any price tags and the price checker not working. Seems as there were plenty of staff so not sure why it's so messy. It makes it very overwhelming! Bonus is the staff were nice and friendly.
This Kmart is located centrally at Petone and a stones throw from the train station and bustling Jackson St. Grab a bargain from clothes to homeware however you get what you pay for as some items donβt last very long. My favourite would be the homeware and some of the items have lasted me for years. Massive carpark but going out of it is a nightmare when itβs peak season.
What a tip. The place is a health and safety hazard with products all over the floor and trolleys of stock sitting in every isle. We walked out straight away as it was an unpleasant place to shop. Upper management should be ashamed of this store. If anyone else goes please post some photos on here.
Started off well then probably got done by Covid now it's just always a bombsite within. Shelves are bare and messy. Staff are somewhat helpful but don't seem like they want to be of any assistance. Security pinpoints a certain demographic. The list goes one. Hope to see this business return to its hay day otherwise all the traffic on Hutt road was for nothing.
Big Click & collect order - half the items refunded as out of stock. Went straight in to collect the rest, and saw many of the cancelled items on the shelf. Got the vibe staff couldn't be bothered prepping the items tbh. Staff dump all the items of click & collect orders out on a counter for the customer to gather up. Seems like a small thing to just put the stuff in a trolley or bag to start with. Kmart Petone could do better to look after its customers, for sure
The store is nice and spacious but not nearly enough staff to assist customers. When you look for staff then you find them congregating and chatting. Generally also noticed on multiple occasions that stock is not replenished on the shelves and in these areas the store just generally looks untidy.
