Lovely community centre, our daughter has been attending since beginning of 2023 and she loves it. The teaching team are passionate, kind and caring, and the small centre size means you really feel like a daycare family
Both my tamariki attend NELC and love it. The kaiako are caring and supportive β they know the kids well and create a fun, safe space to learn and grow. NELC is community-run, which means whΔnau have a real voice in how things work. It creates a strong sense of belonging and connection β weβre not just part of a centre, weβre part of a community. We get regular updates and photos, and itβs great seeing our tamariki thrive. Big thanks to the NELC whΔnau!
The head of the kindergarten is unfriendly, racist and bad for the staff
My daughter is very happy here. It is a warm, welcoming, homely place. The staff are all qualified teachers, they are lovely and mature and they really care about the kids. There's a great mix of families and a good community feel. It's a not for profit and the rates would have to be the cheapest going. Love this place!
Friendly, welcoming childcare centre, my 4 yo daughter loves going here as an alternative to kindergarten. Staff are very easy going and professional, we would highly recommend this centre to other families
