“This place has accommodated my kids and I am grateful, staff are so kind and nice. The place is spacious and heaps of educational toys for kids, my kids had learned a lot in the school. Brooklyn Kids is now Busy Bee. They have some parking spaces and there are several stores around.”

“I have had the privilege of both of my children attending Montessori Children's House for their preschool years (3-6). Both children left Montessori for primary school with amazing foundations in reading, writing and maths. Not only this, but the environment and opportunities that Montessori provides to be creative, sporty and to explore nature and science, has been instrumental in allowing my children to become well rounded and ready for the world. The facilities are fantastic and the teaching team and management are supportive, kind and caring. The children and I found it very difficult to leave when it came time for primary school.”

“Fantastic, community spirited, learning environment for our tamariki. Awesome qualified teacher to child ratios which means I go to work and don't worry about my babies. It's small enough that our kids know the names of all the other kids and teachers there so they feel part of a larger family. Management are always available and always ask for parents to feedback on their ideas or plans. They are also really invested in PD for the staff so willing to keep learning and develop skills to support our tamariki.”

“We absolutely love Millie’s House. We had to change daycare centres since our last one was suspended by the MOE. After such an unpleasant experience it was wonderful to find a place here. The teachers are so kind and helpful. Paula, the manager is the best! So knowledgeable and caring. The children are so well looked after and they are very big on hand hygiene here. My son rarely comes home sick anymore. We are only leaving due to relocation to the South Island. Thanks for everything Millie’s House!”

“KinderCare Kilbirnie has been the best daycare for my precious little first born. I was so nervous about finding the right place for my little boy who was 20 months when he joined KinderCare. I will always be grateful to them for offering me a place when they did. I was blown away by how friendly, caring and attentive everyone is. From Shelly at reception to Varsha who makes all the nutritious food to all the teachers - they know all the children’s and parents’ names even though they are quite a big centre, and we always get a warm welcome every morning. The teachers, especially Oliver, Ella and Abbie who my son talks about daily, were so great at helping my little boy (and me!) settle into daycare. I can see the teachers genuinely care about all the kids and are really good at responding to the individual needs and concerns for each child, including how their naps are going and even toilet training. There is a huge outdoor space for the kids to run around as well as focused activities indoors. They are really great at organising events for parents and grandparents too and really nurture family values and respecting all the different cultures. When new ECE policies come in, they do all the heavy lifting for us. I would really recommend KinderCare Kilbirnie for the care, support and attention they provide families (not just the child).”

The environment is warm and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities for the kids in different ages to explore and learn. My child has grown so much in her time here, both academically and socially. “I couldn’t speak more highly of this centre. There is absolutely no other centre quite like this one and you are quick to realise this upon spending welcomed time there. The kids here get the opportunity to go on bus rides, make trips to the local super market to purchase foods to complement the food they have grown, learnt and hand picked in their own garden, they go on bike rides, learn about things that are important and current to our world, the list goes on and on. My daughters development is growing at a rapid rate and I honestly wish I could take all the credit for it but I know the large majority stems from P2. The teachers all know how to care, extend, and most importantly understand what works best for her. I believe that her needs would get lost in a bigger centre so it’s nice that numbers are kept low here. P2 is not just an early childhood centre, it’s a family where everyone is accepted and embraced, family’s are connected together, relationships are built and successes are celebrated. When our time here is up, we will walk away with some life long friends and connections. I am so thankful that my daughter gets to experience care like this. Again, I could not recommend this centre any more.”

“Lovely little daycare. Smaller and more intimate, but still large enough for my son to get plenty of exposure to different things. I feel fully comfortable leaving my son in their care. He started at 2 years old and loves it. They were amazing getting him started with a week integration and taking the time and care to make sure he was comfortable. Now he has gained so much confidence, he calls out his friends by name, is getting his colours and shapes and is developing such an amazing personality. They include me in regular updates, so I feel like I am still very much part of it all.”

“I saw about 8 early childhood centres before I found this one, and it was a clear winner. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of teachers - they have such positive attitudes, with a huge love for learning that they share with everyone around them (including me).
