βGreendale preschool is a great place! The teachers adore every child. Our son is autistic and they work very well with him and engage with the Ministry of Education to learn how they can support our son further.β
βGreendale Kids has been an incredible environment for my daughter to learn and play and build friendships and relationships with the teachers. The team go above and beyond with everything they do and never fail to connect with parents on a personal levelβ

βA first timer here myself, our Waipatu KΕhanga Reo tamariki and kaimahi had a ball, the whole area is fun, lots of pretty colourful tables and chairs spaced out out nicely, private rooms thank goodness for all our bags and shoes, itβs safe and so child friendly from the play area for all ages to the toilet facilities. The food and drinks came with a wide variety for all ages, loved the bathrooms, they were spotless, thereβs changing table facilities in the wheelchair access bathroom for our babies, handbasins I have never seen before in New Zealand and all the countries I have been too, they are ideal, our babies did not need help washing their hands and I just had to take a photo. Great experience, we will definitely be back, best child play area ever.β
βThis one worker her name was Jade, I always see her there and she is the best worker I've ever seen. She once helped me out of a locked changing room, helped a little kid after they tripped, got something for this old lady off a tall shelf, hyped up this girl in some shoes she wanted to buy, and even helped this guy pick out a nice scarf for his wife. Once I accidentally was short five dollars and she payed the rest. This girl is amazing and deserves so much more than she is paid. Praise this woman she is beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.β
βGreat location along the esplanade and very close to the city centre. Excellent secure parking for my work van during an overnight stay. There was a large fully fenced childrenβs playground across the road and the scare park beyond that. Thereβs a lovely park further along the esplanade. The reception staff were pleasant and the room had everything I needed. A heat pump to warm the room up on a cold winters night and a large shower with complimentary soap and shampoo. The reception staff gave me a small bottle of milk for my morning coffee and they provide a kettle and French press with complimentary coffee for my early start the next day. $159 for a single beachfront room.β
βJanice was extremely helpful, and pointed me in the right direction straight away. Keep up the good work Janice!β

βWe recently moved to Napier and visited practically all the daycares/baby rooms across Napier and Taradale for our 19-month-old girl. Best Starts Napier came out on top by a mile. The centre has plenty of shaded outdoor space. The outdoor and indoor areas are well-decorated with lots of activities such as water play, wooden toys, and even animals (birds and guinea pigs) to keep the little ones entertained throughout the day. The staff are wonderful, warm, kind, and professional. They provide an individual learning journey and give weekly updates with pictures and often little stories through the Story Park app. We highly recommend the centre.β
βMayfair Kindy has caring and competent teachers and a real community vibe to it. The learning environment at Mayfair is driven by the kids interests and no two days are alike. As a parent of Mayfair Kindy, off and on, for the last 14 years I cannot recommend Mayfair Kindergarten highly enough.β
βThe best daycare so far. My 2 year old went to two other places before this one and even tho itβs more expensive. Itβs worth the money. The staff are very good with the kids. Never had any issues. My child enjoyed the 2 year old room and when I moved place due to turning 3 she wanted to go back there. As far as supervision goes it was a 10/10 in her room. Not sure about the 3 -4 year old room as Itβs alot bigger so from what I saw adult supervision wasnβt that good and alot more kids which is why we left but itβs like that everywhere- alot of kids. Great staff, very friendly and cater to your needs 10/10. Also never saw any badly behaved kids. They were all well behaved. Better than previous daycares.β
βNothing but thanks and appreciation for these ladies and all they did for my little family. Great for babies and getting ready for big kid school. Miss them so much. Only changed as moved town, we had 3 happy years with them.β
βThe Havelock North Family Centre is so warm & inviting. The staff are kind, full of energy & are a fun-loving bunch! Thank you for hosting the baby & parent group morning teas. The support you gave our group was invaluableβ¦ & kept us sane!β
βBoth of my babies attend Busy Bees Hastings, and I couldnβt be happier with this place! My children go to school very happily and enjoy spending time with their lovely aunties and friends. At first, my youngest was very shy and not familiar with the culture since we are far from our home country. But she was never isolated, the teachers treated her just the same as every other child, with love and care. Now she has become so courageous and active, and it makes us so proud to see her confidence growing. Almost every day, my children bring home beautiful artworks and paintings, which they are excited to show us. I truly recommend Busy Bees Hastings 100% to anyone looking for a warm, supportive, and creative environment for their childrenβ
