Over the past few months my daughter has grown and developed so much and the educators have really encouraged her every step of the way. They are more than willing to try accommodate for hours and days needed and have gone the extra mile for us more than a few times. This centre is great for anyone who’s a bit unsettled about transitioning into daycare. They are happy to update you throughout the day, and also send you home with a little notebook full with the days notes. Definitely recommend to all parents and caregivers!”

Great teachers and very friendly staff. i recommend this place very highly as it teaches children confidence and great technique from a very early age but is never pushy and your child learns and develops skills at their own pace. I especially enjoy the holiday programs which give a real boost to a child's learning journey. Lessons are half an hour each and when a child is confident going under and floating they no longer need a parent in the pool. The staff are very accommodating if you miss a lesson or have more than one child. And Liz van Welie is full of vision and ideas to make the school better and create and friendly and quality environment. There's a play area inside too. “A really wonderful community hub. I came here for a hot shower and ended up making friends, running into old friends, and then staying for the community dinner. The centre is well organized, well lit, friendly, and truly community driven. There is food and hot showers for everyone, and food to take away. I really enjoyed myself and although the shower could do with some extras, it is hot and is just what you need when you've been bathing in a cold stream for 6 months! Cheers to the staff and volunteers at Aritaki community hub. You are the true people who make the world spin and my heart goes out to you. Next I am there, My hands will jump in to help, too.”

“The movement project is fantastic! I am a hockey player and massage therapist with several old injuries. The sessions with Lawrence have really helped with my core strength, joint stability, endurance and flexibility. It is a great form of recovery but gives you so much more. Lawrence gives you amazing guidance and options to adjust the poses to suit your ability. He clearly has a lot of knowledge on dynamic functional movement and the anatomy. It's also great to be able to access the live zoom sessions as well as an abundance of pre-recorded videos, so you can add in extra strength or recovery sessions whenever it suits. Highly recommended!”
