    We absolutely love Buckle My Shoe! Both of our boys go here — one of them started when he was just 7 months old — and we couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. It’s a small centre, which gives it such a lovely, homely feel. It really does feel like a second family. The teachers are all so kind, caring, and dedicated, and our boys absolutely adore them. They both settled in so quickly, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment the team has created. We’re so grateful to have found such a special place for our children to grow and thrive.

    The teachers are absolutely amazing! Shreena, Raj, Sarah and Lily, thank you for being a part of my daughter's learning journey and also showing such patience and care towards her. I highly recommend this centre. The most important thing is that the teachers are very supportive of every child’s needs in terms of knowledge enrichment. The centre has loads of activities included in their curriculum to educate children about festivals, diversity, and other important dates. The centre is culturally diverse. Their dedication to creating a safe and stimulating environment is evident in their interactions with the children.

    Shreena is a lovely manager and owner. Staff are lovely and very caring with kids. We have enjoyed the experience we have had with our daughter being here. She comes home singing and dancing and always has smiles on her face going in to daycare every day. It’s been very welcoming and such a personalised experience being here. We have made great relationships here and transitioning our daughter was much easier knowing she is in great, diligent and caring hands.

    Due to a previous centre not meeting our expectations we found ourselves looking for a new centre for our daughter. Upon our visit to Buckle my shoe we found that they ticked all the boxes, welcoming staff, location, easy access, on site parking, security gates, an amazing outdoor area as well as a spacious indoor space. Our daughter has autism and I couldn't recommend enough how patient, caring and accommodating all staff on site are. They have all gone the extra mile to assist her needs, making her feel welcome and most importantly inclusive. They have done an amazing job to bring our daughter from solitary play and interaction to peer play and being amongst song and dance. They have an abundance of resources and activities to cater for every child's needs and interest and letting each child express themselves through creative art or dress up imagery play and even group baking. They keep us up to date on our daughters progress and development through conversations at pick up and drop off as well as regular updates on Storypark. We couldn't be more happier getting our daughter into Buckle my shoe.

    Even though Buckle My Shoe is the only daycare centre we have been apart of, I can not imagine there would be a better one out there. Our daughter (now 3) has been at Buckle My Shoe since 8 months old and there has never been a day she has not wanted to go. The staff are all unbelievable. Caring, professional and so supportive of not only our daughter and her progress, but the entire Buckle My Shoe community. It really does feel like one big happy family. We have 6 month old twin boys and they will 110% be a part of the Buckle My Shoe whanau. Can not recommend them enough

    Buckle my shoe is an amazing little centre with friendly and welcoming staff. Over the past few months my daughter has grown and developed so much and the educators have really encouraged her every step of the way. They are more than willing to try accommodate for hours and days needed and have gone the extra mile for us more than a few times. This centre is great for anyone who’s a bit unsettled about transitioning into daycare. They are happy to update you throughout the day, and also send you home with a little notebook full with the days notes. Definitely recommend to all parents and caregivers!

    Our 2year old joined Buckle my Shoe in Oct 2019. Before he officially started he had many visits which was awesome. We really wanted to prepare our wee man, especially knowing his personality. He needed gradual exposure to help him feel comfortable in a new environment. He has since absolutely thrived & really enjoyed daycare which has been amazing! Being a smaller centre is an absolute bonus. The staff are so mindful of the children’s needs which is so important & helps as parents to know they are so well looked after. We couldn’t recommend more highly Buckle my Shoe, they have become like family it’s so lovely! Plus working at the hospital it’s literally a 2min drive making it so easy!
