“I was worried about sending my parents to New Zealand for their 70th birthday, but hearing that they would be there for me from morning to night with me as a close guide put me at ease. Especially, I had been pestering them via KakaoTalk for almost two months before the trip, and even though our itinerary suddenly changed, they were very understanding and adjusted without any inconvenience. “We started planning our trip for a 3.5 week trip to NZ 14 months ago and when we were looking for a provider for self-drive cars we found out GreatDays NZ Tours and Mr Schmiedel. Even at this early stage, GreatDays was able to make us an offer that was quickly updated over the next few weeks according to our wishes. Extensive online documents were available, which were very helpful during the trip together with Google Maps - one click on the link and you knew where to go. There were no problems on the entire trip. All hosts were fully and well informed about us. We were already expected everywhere and welcomed with friendly words. The booked transfers (pick-ups and ferry) and everything related to the rental car also went smoothly - from the handover to us in Auckland to the return at the airport in Christchurch. An unforgettable experience that deserves 6 stars.”

“My biking buddy, Barbara, and I enjoyed our 2015 Bike/Barge trip so much that we booked the Prague to Vienna cycle tour as our 2018 challenge. What a great experience we had visiting several UNESCO World Heritage towns along the way as well as chateau and historical sites such as the sobering remnants of the Iron Curtain. We couldn't have wished for more customer focused, friendly and helpful people as Jitka, our tour leader, and Henry, our support vehicle driver. We ended the day at a very soulful tucked away spot with a great vibe, which we would never have found on our own. It was a beautiful day which hit the highs for our family of active travelers! This is the site of Broadcasting House, and although plans were already under way to have it demolished the building was destroyed by fire in September 1997 after 235 Radio New Zealand staff had moved to new premises in The Terrace in July 1997. Grand schemes to build a government "palace" on the site, or to shift the Beehive there, eventually fizzled and today the space is a sculpture park.”
