“Liz is an excellent dog trainer. She’s also very responsive to any questions that I’ve had. We had to take our border collie, Oreo, for some private trainings with Liz due to reactivity and not listening to us. So we’ve started off with some obedience training. All the exercises we did was fun and engaging. After every sessions, she would even summarise what we have to work on at home so we were ready for the next session. Oreo has already made a lot of progress by becoming less reactive and more obedient. He has also been walking nicely on a loose lead which was a big problem for us before. We are definitely enjoying our walks more now.”

“Highly Recommend! Learning Adventures Takanini is one of the best early learning centers I have encountered. Firstly, they have an exceptional curriculum that caters for all types of learning and development a child needs. The teachers are amazing and have a very caring nature.The center Manager is often found on the floor assisting her staff, meeting and greeting parents regularly, and often seeking feedback for improvement purposes. Most importantly, a very nutritious meal is served at the centre.”

“The magic of this place is the inclusivity and sense of community that it builds, largely brought on by studio owner Emma and the teachers. As someone who only started pole last year in their 30’s, I initially thought I was “too old” to get into it, but I’ve been happily proven wrong. With the studio’s guidance I was able to learn awesome tricks, moves and spins around the pole in a safe and fun environment. The studio also celebrates people’s uniqueness, and I’ve been given a safe space to bring out my own style to pole dancing, whether that’s being quirky, sassy, or even at times, chaotic. They really promote the idea of having fun in everything you do, which is what keeps me coming back. I’m excited to see what awesome things they can help me learn going forward.”

“The education and care for our two children are Kindercare Bishopdale has been outstanding. They have both felt loved, secure, safe and have learned so much across the board. All teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and have always been strong on communication and creating relationships with not just the children, but us as parents as well. Nutritious hot meals are a great bonus (how lucky are the kids getting fresh fruit crumble out of the oven?!)”

“14months ago after the first lockdown I walked into BOXFIT STUDIO with Covid kilos weighing in at 61.25kg, 152cm height. The team and vibe at @boxfit was awesome and I got into a rhythm of excercising. Next lockdowns I got a gym sorted at home with the help of Veronica Lee Foley. Plus I did a couple of challenges the team had set up online. Slowly but surely knocked off 6kg and now back in a healthy bmi zone. “This is an awesome kindy. It's not for profit which was important for me - that means it's not being run as a business, which unfortunately many centres in Manurewa are. The staff are loyal to the centre, they are happy and they love the kids. They pay attention to what the kids like and make activities just for them - they have a massive storeroom of activities so it changes all the time. The outdoor area is amazing - go and visit and you'll see. I know my kids are cared for and safe at this centre - thanks kiddywinks :)”

“We’ve had our 3 children in the care of Fantails Silverdale since 2018, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The teachers are always so warm, caring, and dedicated to the children, which makes a huge difference in their development. It’s clear they’re genuinely passionate about creating a nurturing environment. The outdoor space is fantastic! There’s plenty of room for the kids to play and explore, and it’s a great feature of the centre. I also love that they have separate rooms for different age groups, so each child gets the attention and activities suited to their stage of development. Fantails organizes regular events that keep things fresh and exciting for the kids, from themed days to celebrations, and they always look forward to these. The extra activities they offer, like playball, swimming, and school visits, are a nice touch and give the children a variety of experiences beyond the typical classroom setting. What stands out most, however, is how the management truly listens to feedback. They are always open to suggestions and seem genuinely invested in improving the centre. It’s clear that they care about the families they serve.
