“Finding a great driving instructor can be tough, but luckily, I struck gold with Coach Gao. From day one, he put me at ease with his humor and patience. Even though I could only squeeze in lessons once a week due to my busy schedule, Coach Gao made each session a productive and enjoyable experience. His teaching style was clear, concise, and tailored to my individual needs. He identified my weak spots early on and gave me constructive feedback. At the same time, he also boosted my confidence behind the wheel with constant encouragement and positive reinforcement. I never felt belittled or discouraged, even when I made mistakes. Thanks to Coach Gao's exceptional instruction and support, I not only passed my practical test on my first attempt, but I also transformed into a confident driver. Thank you once again for everything, and wish you all the best.”
“Very lucky to be able to learn Isha Yoga programs right here in Auckland. I have attended 3 programs in the last 5 months, the space is very inviting and energized. Teacher is very patient, supportive and covers the details with clarity. A very enjoyable experience, I will be back to learn more!”
“My son and his band have improved immensely under the guidance of Jesse and his team. They are super passionate, provide amazing direction and give their artists the opportunity to perform on stage in front of an audience. Can’t recommend Lila enough, your budding muso will love being part of the Lila family.”
“Great driving teacher! Very affordable and professional. Patient, clear with instructions, and helped me feel confident on the road. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn driving without spending too much!”
“My son had two lessons and passed his test first time. Jeroen is so patient and encouraging. He also has great resources (dashcam footage, etc) for teaching. Highly recommend.”
“Learning Kung-Fu has become an enjoyable experience for my son since he has joined the Kung-Fu school 5 years ago. The instructors are skillful and following a syllabus where all the students are catered according to their level. I have seen a drastic development within my son in terms of decipline, attention and personality. It's great to see that my son is always excited to learn and develop his Kung-Fu.”
“My kids has learned so much in SMA. And they are always excited to come to learn and have fun. Ravi has also been a good instructor in all their trainings. Thank you”
“Yesterday we had our first surf class with jorge and alberto. After a quick introduction and some warm ups we got into the water. With the help of those 2, everyone was able to catch some waves. They were lovely motivating and cheering every success, so we had great two hours of surfing!”
“My kids have learnt swimming here, they are now picking up important swimming life skills. We receive frequent feedback via email and ThinkSmart app on their progress and level improvements.”
“So pleased we chose Sara Anderson Dance for my 3 year old daughter. Sara and her team are so lovely to the little ones, we really enjoy our weekly lessons and the showcase was a wonderful experience. The older dancers took the younger ones under their wings, looked after them and made them feel special. Thank you so much Kathryn”
“My paragliding journey started with a wonderful tandem flight with Grey Hamilton, the head honcho at Cloudbase Paragliding in Christchurch, and I fell in love with paragliding straight away. I decided to go to another company in Queenstown (just for the scenery) to start my paragliding training, but really didn't enjoy the teaching methods there so I came back to Christchurch to finish my training and become a qualified paraglider pilot. And I'm so glad I did! For starters, the scenery in Christchurch is also beautiful, but while you're learning you're concentrating so much you don't really think about that. What is much more important is what, and how you learn. Grey and his assistant instructors are very experienced, and they teach with care, patience, and with safety at the forefront. Also, (unlike in QT) they really love what they're doing, and I was never made to feel like I was wasting the instructor's time when it took me a while to learn something new. Grey also teaches all the necessary theory, from the physics of flying, to airspace law, to meteorology, and helps you through all the exams you need to pass to qualify. Having recently been awarded my licence, I feel super confident to explore NZ with my new gear (which Grey very kindly sourced for me at a discount price) ready to put my new skills into practice. And now I can enjoy all that beautiful scenery with no stress! Thanks to everyone at Cloudbase! :)”
“Mike K was too good. Felt zero pressure on the road with him and always good for a bit of banter while also getting the most out of your lesson. Made me feel super confident heading into my restricted test.”
“Very nice team and professional, the person educated my son how to take care his teeth well, she is very knowledgeable and attentive.”
“They train with detailed explanations, and this has made young students kung fu journey quite successful. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, always taking the time to ensure every student understands the technique, not just the movement. Beyond the physical skills, we've seen a huge improvement in student’s focus and discipline. It's a truly supportive and welcoming environment—highly recommend it for any parent looking for a quality martial arts school!”
“100% recommend Ben as a driving instructor. My son had 3 lessons with Ben and after each lesson he was more confident and more skilled. Ben praised him alot and got him ready for his restricted test which he passed first attempt. Thanks for a great experience.”
“We are so grateful to the amazing teachers at Little Star. When my first child started, she didn’t speak a word of English and everything was new to her. Thanks to the teachers’ care and support, she grew in confidence and learned so much. During the primary school transition visits, she joined the class so naturally, reading, speaking, and writing with the other children, and even answering questions with excitement. I truly appreciate all the love and encouragement that helped her get ready for this next step.”
“Bumblebees is part of our lifestyle now and the baby hasn’t even started yet. It’s an easy and good vibe here. Only have to ask the kids to put their shoes on once when it’s time for Bumblebees.”
“I can't say enough good things about Neil as a driving instructor. Learning with him was not just about passing a test; it was an experience filled with patience, humor, and genuine care. Neil's calming presence and quick wit made every lesson enjoyable. His genuine interest in my progress, coupled with his ability to tailor his teaching to my needs, set him apart from the rest. Thanks to Neil, I not only passed my test first time but I gained the confidence to navigate those Wellington roads safely. If you're looking for an instructor who goes above and beyond, look no further he's simply outstanding.”
“What an experience! 3 of us from Total Realty, along with our husbands, had the most incredible prep, cooking, and tasting experience! We had so much food we all took enough home for dinner. Was such a cool thing to do - get amongst it and have a go!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our daughter absolutely loves being part of the Renaissance School of Dance! The teachers are warm, supportive, and so talented. She looks forward to every class and has grown in both skill and confidence since joining. The performances are always fabulous – beautifully organised and such a joy to watch.”
“My daughter has been going off and on since she was a baby and Rebecca and her staff made the process so easy and fun. They keep the environment nice and warm which helps with transition in and out of the pool. Just an overall great swim school.”
“As an intermediate wing foiler from Europe, I made a material rental for a session in Lake Pupuke with madloop a few days a ago. Alan set me up with the right setup for my level of expertise and the wind conditions, which shows he knows what he is doing and listens to his customers. We also had a very nice chat with Alan which is clearly very driven and knowledgeable in the wing foil sports.”
“Zack was an excellent driving instructor for my son. He is warm and funny and relates so well to young people. His teaching style is effective as he builds such good raport. Thank you Zack!”
“I tried to learn Guitar in Intermediate School, but always felt like the classes weren't structured enough, I then joined AGS in 2016. At the school, every lesson has a meaning, where you can walk away and feel like you're improving every week. Dylan is a great teacher because he helps you understand music rather than just play it, and this has led to a quick progression in my skill that I didn't think was possible. With this understanding, I can now look at new music on my own and feel like what was once daunting is possible, if I stop to think about what's written on the page in front of me.”
“I had been at Auckland Guitar School for 9 years and I can certainly say that not only have I grown as a guitarist and a musician. The teachers at AGS provide great feedback and help, personalising lessons even whilst being a group lesson. The social aspect of being AGS is definitely a plus. The little and big gigs are great way to showcase your guitar skills to like-minded people. While I unfortunately had to leave AGS due to a changing schedule, I can certainly say that if you want to learn guitar well, come to AGS!”
