Before enrolling my daughter who eagerly wanted to give ballet a go I looked over many other studios and came across Sara Anderson School of Dance. I looked over at the website and for me personally I wanted a place that felt welcoming and would not only help my daughter love dance but grow in a warm environment and for some reason I just took a leap of faith and I have no regrets because I got exactly what I was looking for my daughter! I had doubts that my daughter would stay and now 5 years later my girl is still dancing and she loves dance. It's no longer a battle. When she's had a bad day she knows she is safe and feels valid. Another part I also can appreciate is how the team has somehow transformed my eldest rough on the edges girl (karate kid) to now a girl who no longer scrunches up her nose at the thought of wearing a leotard. A place where my daughter's sense of humor is embraced. Thankyou Team for all you do.

**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** My 5-year-old daughter recently started attending the "Intro to Ballet" class at Sara Anderson School of Dance this summer, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The teachers here are not only highly professional and passionate about ballet, but they are also incredibly warm, friendly, and patient with the little ones. They've created an environment where my daughter feels both excited and engaged while learning the fundamentals of ballet. At this early stage of fostering her interest, the school offers a clear set of rules and a well-structured curriculum. However, they strike a perfect balance by not pushing the children too hard, allowing them to explore the art of ballet without the pressure of rigorous training. This approach has given my daughter the space to appreciate ballet and gradually build confidence in a joyful and supportive atmosphere. If you're looking for a place where your child can develop an interest in ballet while having fun and feeling confident, I highly recommend Sara Anderson School of Dance!

So pleased we chose Sara Anderson Dance for my 3 year old daughter. Sara and her team are so lovely to the little ones, we really enjoy our weekly lessons and the showcase was a wonderful experience. The older dancers took the younger ones under their wings, looked after them and made them feel special. Thank you so much Kathryn

My daughter has been attending Sara Anderson School of Dance since she was 7 years old. She really blossomed under Sara's excellent tutelage and has loved every minute of her dance journey with Sara's wonderful school - working her way from Grade I to Advanced I in Ballet and currently working on her Advanced 2 Syllabus. She has also had the opportunity to do contemporary, jazz and musical theatre through Sara's school. And - as well as being a highly skilled dance teacher - Sarah also offers pilates and conditioning classes - thus helping her students to dance fluidly and flexibly while avoiding injury. Thanks Sara!

Miss Sara and her wonderful teachers are fantastic. My daughter absolutely loves dancing here, it's a highlight of her week! She has improved hugely while attending dance lessons with Miss Sara and enjoys showing us at home what she's learnt. We're very impressed as she also uses the correct terminology for different moves. Miss Sara is very welcoming and knows each student very well. We're so grateful we found this dance studio. A lovely environment for dancers to learn.

Our children love their experience going to their dance explorers classes with Sara Anderson. She has an impressive way to encourage all of the children to listen and follow along, even if trying something new. We were so delighted to watch our girls perform in the end of term show with such confidence and joy they had in being part of it. Highly recommend!

We have been attending the ballet school for two years with our two daughters. Sara has a great bond with the girls and is able to get the best out of them with making the ballet fun and enjoyable for them. The shows are always a highlight with costumes and performing on stage.

My daughter is definitely NOT a girly-girl and I don't consider myself to be a "dance mum" so I was a bit nervous when she decided she wanted to learn musical theatre and contemporary dance at the Sara Anderson School of Dance. To my surprise and delight, she has continued learning to dance here for over two years and she is improving in grace, strength and physicality, but more important than that she just loves going to classes. And I feel welcome too! Definitely no pretentions here at this excellent dance school. I highly recommend it.
