“If you're starting at Mount Albert Grammar, make the most of every moment. Not only so valuable lessons in terms of knowledge and academic subjects but life lessons as well. So many opportunities available as well as support from staff. When you're told ''join a club'' or ''contribute with some form of service'' I highly recommend you do. Even one or two things will make all the difference in school life. Put in as much effort as you can and the school will do the same in return. In these important crucial years, I couldn't think of a place I'd rather have been at.”

“I am a currunt student of the school and it's so amazing with a lunch of 30 minutes of witch you only get 10 because the amazing teaching staff keep you in even though you did nothing wrong and were just trying to do your work and the complete lack of respect for the students is even better so all in all if you want a 10 minute lunch break and no respect I 10 out of 10 recomend this school”

“Surfed at Muriwai surf school on Nov 15th with Myma and Thomas. Had the BEST experience!!! Myma is amazing!!! Very patient with extremely good instruction! We were in a group of 8 and everyone was able to get up ! The location is fantastic and absolutely beautiful. Both Thomas and Myma gave great instructions and kept us all very safe. Even though there were 8 of us it felt like we were in a private lesson. Both Thomas and Myma spent plenty of one on one time with everyone and we all had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!!!”

“I booked a one-off beginner lesson (group) with Mount Surf School for my two kids (aged 10 and 13). I was genuinely impressed in my interactions with Rowan - I had numerous questions relating to equipment and techniques so that i could help the kids practice following their lesson. He took the time to answer every question I had and nothing felt rushed. His explanations were clear, patient, and genuinely helpful. “Epic day for a totally reasonable price. It was my first experience surfing and Phil was an absolute legend. Clearly a pillar of the community and a surfing veteran, he was a great teacher and brilliant chat. He had me catch a wave first try and improve solidly over the lesson so I was able to ride a few in to the beach. Can't think of a better setting to surf than Piha either. Five stars”

He take all my fear out and make me drive like nothing else which is like so so easy. “Started from no driving experience to passing my restricted in one go, within a few classes!! I definitely had such a great experience learning how to drive. From the start, driving has been a fear for myself and to learn was something I was very hesitant of, however, with my tutor I was at ease and very comfortable.
