“These guys know how to get repeat business. They do everything right (in my book), and completely worthy of their high rating. Their service is impeccable. The location is handy, in the Central Parade block of shops just down from New World and Z petrol station. Easy drive in, most the time grabbing a park close by or out the front. They have a great menu covering all your kiwi fish n chip classics, burgers and Chinese selections we’ve come to expect in NZ. Their online ordering system is super quick and easy to use. Added bonus, a 10% discount coupon for online orders over $15 ✅ Even if you don’t order online, you won’t be waiting long. Did I mention they do coffee too? And free wifi (NZ establishments are mostly slow on that one). Our favourites for Friday night takeaways; Gurnard or Terakihi which comes in a light batter with a hint of lemon and herb salt. Always fresh. Good chunky chips, a cheeky hot dog and spring roll always go down a treat. Their Nasi Goreng is the best Ive had in NZ, and their wonton or dumpling noodle soup too. Its 5-stars all the way from me. I recommend Central coast takeaway to anybody who asks which is what spurred me to write a review. Credit where credit is due as Nan always said, and these guys deserve the credit… best takeaways in the Bay!”

She provides good old fashioned service where she talks to you, gives detailed explanations of medication use, and genuinely cares for you and your health. “I’m based in Wellington, and most of the big name companies online couldn’t be bothered with my $2.3K order – I guess it was too much hassle for them. They were all chasing the quick buck. But these legends :) Super responsive from the get go, happy to help, and they sorted everything out without a fuss. They delivered my 230kg Aqua One Brilliance tank perfectly, no drama at all. Even though I’m far away, I’m seriously impressed with how they handled everything. I’d happily buy from them again any day.”

“The man who groomed our dog did an excellent job, probably the best we've ever had for a brush out of our long haired double coated samoyed. Something to note though is that he initially asked if we wanted her trimmed down to a poodle style cut. This indicated that he had no samoyed experience and you would never trim their coat - possibly just hygiene areas. We made sure it was clear no scissor or trimming allowed. We were very worried leaving our girl but the end result was excellent. We will definitely go back again for a wash and brush out. No knots in sight. She also smelled wonderful.”

“We had such a wonderful time at Catfe Mao! The staff are incredibly nice and took the time to tell us the stories behind each cat—you can really tell how much they care for these animals. The place is spotlessly clean, peaceful, and the cats are just adorable. My kids and I were so happy here. Also, a quick shoutout to their milk tea—it’s absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for cat lovers and families.”
