“Very fresh salmon (it’s really fresh) and freshly cooked rice! Not chilled or taken from the fridge with dried rice and just defrosted fish like most of sushi makers do… Very yummy! Comparing with sushi from botany town food court, “st Perrier” from Pakuranga sushi, and “mr Lee” from Botany junction. Ps - on the photo there are Chicken Yaki Udon and Miso soup.”
“All the staff here are so nice and very helpful! Sometimes I think it can be stressful because there's certainly a lot of people, but I think they all handle it well and keep the standards high. Totally recommend!”
“You have some nice walks of varying ability - head up valley for gentler climb - some trees bird song. Head up to left for a steeper climb - can even get to Ridgeline and look over Lyttleton harbour- can share with mountain bikes- so keep lively - normally parking at the end of the road is no problem - Happy walking”
“Nice place to wander around looking at the lambs and the flowers. The only downside is the people who can't or won't follow the signs and therefore pick the flowers or drive down the area of twin oaks drive which is now closed off so that it can be used as a walking path. IDIOTS !”
“Perfect place for kids to play, Has a fenced playground for younger children and heaps of space and equipment for older kids. The rose garden is beautiful to walk around”
“good small local market on a Saturday morning, makes a nice change when it's not the normal car boot type, this market has real nice things for sale”

“We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful scenery along the Avon River. The area felt much more expansive than the Botanical Garden but still provide green luscious atmosphere comparable to the Garden, with lovely walking tracks shaded by tree-lined paths. There’s also a nice café to stop by along the way. Overall, doing a loop walk from bridge to bridge was a truly enjoyable experience.”
“Had a lovely round of disc golf.”
“Great for children younger and older. Grassed area as well a play equipment. Toilets are on site and well kept.”
“This was a beautiful venue for my grandson's soccer game. I love that there is a public toilet right there as well.”
“Awesome dairy. The owner is very helpful and they have a variety of useful items as well as the usual milk, bread etc. The staff are really friendly as well.”
“Great playground for the kids, Big field to run the dogs and tucked away in the corner is a steep incline hill ideal for excercise. Roadside parking only.”
“Not a huge car park but plenty of spaces available. This is always quieter as people tend to park further up and have a shorter walk. Toilets and water refill station at the car park. Would recommend the red trail (giant circuit). Beautiful walk through redwoods, to the peak and across the saddle. All the trails are really well sign posted with coloured arrows. Just remember what colour trail you want and you will be sweet”
“Lovely spot, made even better if Mr Whippy is there!”
