   Walking, trail running, mountain biking, views of Christchurch city and out towards the sea on the other side - The terrain is steep with grass and a dirt, gravel “road” (not for public access with vehicles - on foot or bikes only). Bring your own drink bottle if you plan to walk to the top. The view is worth it! You’ll burn thousands of calories. And you may see some sheep!

   Nice little park, can go off track sometimes but will end up t the summit if you keep going up the paddock. Watch put for spiky plants. Beautiful flora and fauna and stunning views.

   You have some nice walks of varying ability - head up valley for gentler climb - some trees bird song. Head up to left for a steeper climb - can even get to Ridgeline and look over Lyttleton harbour- can share with mountain bikes- so keep lively - normally parking at the end of the road is no problem - Happy walking
