“We enjoyed our stay. Had a 1 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our needs. The gym and pool are a little walk away but were superb. The staff are kind and accommodating. We were given access to our room hours before the check in time and a staff member came to our room to show us where the heater was and set it up. I am very fussy and found the lounge a little tired but the facilities overall were of a good standard.”

“Went today Mondsy 23. Fir a MRI. Was extremely nervous as I m extremely claustrophobic. We convinced that even with anxiety pills I would no be able to go through with it. But was talked through it .advised that my fears were not unusual. And my feeling ashamed was ok, but not necessary. “I love getting a pizza from this place every week because the pizza is great and the owner makes me feel like part of this community having moved to New Brighton not too long ago. Today he made me a special Chines pizza and it was GREAT! My family fought over the last piece, which has NEVER happened before. Try it out!!”

“Stayed in unit 7 and it had a great sea view. The rooms itself are quite basic, though clean and well serviced. It is nothing flash but very good for the price and good enough for a 2 night stay. We left the 3rd day as we had enough of all Tauranga could offer us and we had to return to Auckland. Would return for an overnight next time. Alan is a great host. Tip: Get a room with a sea view.”

“In the 25 years I've lived in New Zealand, I've never experienced hotel service like yesterday. When I requested a room change because the room was a little uncomfortable, the hotel manager was happy to accommodate me. They replaced our room and also split the single bad and adjusted it to the twin bed. All the staff were friendly, the staff serving breakfast in the restaurant were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Also, when I slept at the hotel last night, it was so comfortable and quiet. Thank you to all the hotel staff.”

“Been going to them for a couple years now, to start with i will say the chips were a little overcooked 90% of the time but over this year they have been cooked perfectly (to me atleast). Its unfortunate that they had to up the price but its understandable considering this economy at the moment, still happily geting my food though dispite that. The people there iv found have been really nice aswell, ill usually go next door to pick up something to drink but usually after that it dosnt take that long for the food to be ready. Sometimes ill actually go once or twice a week since its a easy lunch or dinner option and is only just a 5 minute walk for me.”
