   Low key, and fun. Great space for smaller toddlers to play and test their motor skills. Fully fenced, lots of variety of playing equipment and soft mats makes it really safe. Cool place to explore whether you live locally or are driving around trying to find a nice spot for the little ones to play.

   Discover Virginia Reserve. Sometimes we just want a small, simple, toddler friendly playground and this is a great example! This playground has a beautiful carved tuatara to climb on, double rocker, toddler fort to climb and balance on, crawl through and slide, swing set (including a toddler swing) and interactive boards. Notes: There is a large step down from the main play space to the swings. The playground is well fenced and there are places for adults to sit. Given it’s a small neighbourhood park the parking is limited and there is no public toilet.

   We come here with our toddler almost every second day. He loves the slide and the tuatara. There are a couple of design flaws such as a giant step down to concrete. But it is fully fenced and the playground equipment itself is pretty good. It is missing a toilet but not so surprising at such a small reserve
