“Awesome New Years (Tues/Wed). Started picking up after 1am. Way hot once it chocka block with people. Entertainment fantastic. Miss Ribena - shi the Queen knows how 2 work the crowds. Got told off by a guy who didn't want me 2 buy other bros drinks - except him LOL. Harmless guy though. Seccy ON POINT. If u behave.. U will have an awesome time. $12 most standard drinks - all goods. Awesome 2go if u new. Good people. Great atmosphere. Yep I'm drunk, but had a awesome time. 1st time (that's what she said.. but it probably wasn't.. lol). Yes it can get difficult after 12am, but PREPARE b4 hand n u will have a good time. Miss Ribena and Seccy ain't Jesus. 19 years wasn't it? That's a long time. It's a really good place to hang out after dark . Shame it ain't open 6 days a week, instead of just Fri & Sat nites. Dress is casual. Long ish pants, polo shirt etc. Awesome music. Have a few drinks b4 hand. Get relaxed and have a good time.”

“Me and my partner have been a few times and the atmosphere and staff are amazing the bouncers come across intimidating however in a establishment you need security like that so people are aware to treat the staff and the beautiful women respectfully. Once you get past them they actually are a great vibe. The bar lady’s and waitresses are also amazing staff who look after you. All comes down to how you approach and treat them as to how your experience goes in my opinion”

“Ahhhh the music is great! Never had issues with the bouncers. All the staff from from the cashier to the bartenders are genuinely friendly. Toilets are “tidy” enough for unisex toilets but pretty tight.”

“What an experience! Took my girlies to their first drag show and it was incredible. Everything from the gorgeous girls, ambience, food and many laughs were just brilliant. You get to keep the souvenir cups which is a cute memory. Food tasted so homey and just what we needed before continuing the night. Bar Manager and Bartender pushed drinks out the whole time and did an awesome job. Not only the girls performances were so fun and enjoyable to watch but their service throughout the whole night were so attentive and glamorous. “This bar was decorated really nicely with nice velvet couches, board games and a fireplace. They have a few mixed drink options, we both got martinis. Otherwise they have a lot of whisky. We did ask for other suggestions of drinks but it seemed like we had to stick to the few on the menu. The jam on the martini was really good and a unique garnish!”

“Another nice place to hang out for gin lovers out there, right in the heart of Dunedin CBD. It has a cool ambiance and a variety of cocktails menu. Don't worry if you are not into gin, there are many other things you can choose to drink. The attendants are super friendly. If they are not busy, they will come around to talk to you. Highly recommended place to wind down on Friday evening.”
