“This store has always been amazing and the people have always been amazing from the time that I was just a simple customer to now a worker I would like to thank the Woolworths family for their guidance over the years. “Kia ora. I went to Awa Ink through the recommendation of a friend and work colleague. I was born in Melbourne, Australia, and have lived full time in New Zealand since 1997. I have a number of old skool type tattoos which I had done during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The only tattoo that meant anything to me is my daughter's name on a ribbon and love heart type design. I really wanted something new that tells my story and truly means something to me. Tawhiri absolutely exceeded my expectations with a beautiful Tā moko telling my story along with my daughter's name and the name of my mokopuna. I requested the Southern Cross be included as I was born under this constellation and is featured on the Australian flag where I was born and the New Zealand flag where I have lived for close to 30 years. I also have a connection to Samoa through a very close friend which also features the Southern Cross on its flag. My overall experience with Tawhiri at Awa Ink absolutely exceeded my expectations. “The staff there smile when they looked at me, which is hard to find at a lot of places of business. I found the pharmacy very easy to walk around, but the men's care products are unfortunately not as abundant as I expected, on the contrary they have Old Spice. And a Pikachu was on the counter there how could I not give you 5str. Also in that 5str was just the loving "aura" from the floor staff. The pharmacy is attached to a supermarket so very convenient, you can get your pharmacy products before or after your weekly shop.”

“This was my first piercing, really nice staff. work station was sterile and the lady that served me wore gloves and asked it if I needed a count down!! Gave me a booklet explaining aftercare too so no complaints (the lady that served me was really pretty too she had a spider web tatt on her knee but I was to scared to compliment her☹️)”
