“Fantastic service! I popped in on Sunday to speak to someone about a chair that my mother purchased - I believe it was faulty. We dealt with Tammy (who I believe was from the Hastings Store). She was brilliant to deal with, made the whole exchange process so simple, straightforward and painless. She was also extremely helpful in expediting this quickly, as our circumstances meant that time was in short supply. All the other staff were super helpful too. “I really love going to the Hastings Focal cinema and cafe it is a awesome and good place Very Polite and kind service from the staff excellent clean up fantastic yummy and delicious food popcorn etc. and I just finished watching the Special advance screening of Final Destination Bloodlines with other People and the Movie was so good I want to watch it again. “We had an excellent stay at Quality Inn Napier! From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with two comfortable queen beds. It was also very quiet, which gave us a restful and uninterrupted sleep each night. They kindly provided a portable double hot plate upon request, which was perfect for preparing our own meals. The toilet and bathroom were spotless—another big plus. Location is also a standout—convenient and walkable to Marine Parade, which made exploring Napier easy and enjoyable. Free parking was spacious and felt very safe, adding to the peace of mind during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!”

Shed on the Quay runs with a simple, bistro-style menu and a relaxed feel. Outdoors works well when the weather plays along. Team members keep things friendly and on task. Plates offer plenty without tipping heavy.

The Frying Dutchman Limited keeps things classic fish-and-chips and focused on flavour. Portions are generous yet well judged. Blue cod and other fillets arrive fresh with light batter. Wait times are contained even when busy.
