   5 stars - Fantastic indoor playground for kids of all ages! We recently took our little ones (aged 3 and 6) to Chipmunks Playland & Café Hawke's Bay in Napier, and it was an absolute hit! The playground has so much variety with multi-level activities – gentle options for toddlers and more adventurous slides and climbing areas for older kids, but nothing too overwhelming or scary. It's perfect for burning off energy on a rainy day or any time. The café has great food and drinks, with plenty of seating and tables for parents to relax while keeping an eye on the kids. Staff were super friendly, and we loved the welcoming vibe. One reviewer even mentioned how kind the owner was when they arrived early on a holiday – that kind of service really stands out!

   I want to highlight the fact that the 10 trip multi passes only last 12 months. Never was this explained to me when I purchased nor when I used my tickets was I told that they would expire soon. When I protested this, I was allowed to use one of my remaining 4 tickets, so I guess thank you. But I don't feel like this is very good customer relations and has meant a big loss of money for me. Not happy. The place is fun but it's expensive, thus buying the multipass which saves a bit of money. Just make sure you go often enough to use them up.

   An excellent indoor play centre for children - lots of variety in the activities involved on different levels, some fun for little ones and some a bit more adventurous for the older children, however none too scary. The centre itself (including the equipment ) is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Toilets / baby change room are similarly sparkly clean. Food and drinks are good and there are plenty of tables and chairs. Overall, this is a great indoor play centre and well worth a visit.

   A first timer here myself, our Waipatu Kōhanga Reo tamariki and kaimahi had a ball, the whole area is fun, lots of pretty colourful tables and chairs spaced out out nicely, private rooms thank goodness for all our bags and shoes, it’s safe and so child friendly from the play area for all ages to the toilet facilities. The food and drinks came with a wide variety for all ages, loved the bathrooms, they were spotless, there’s changing table facilities in the wheelchair access bathroom for our babies, handbasins I have never seen before in New Zealand and all the countries I have been too, they are ideal, our babies did not need help washing their hands and I just had to take a photo. Great experience, we will definitely be back, best child play area ever.

   Awesome big family friendly complex with a huge play area for the kiddos. Delicious food and drinks menu, reasonably priced to and plenty of seating for everyone. Its the perfect set-up for a hassel-free, fun filled birthday party.

   What a fantastic experience!! Our girls 8th birthday was perfect, room was ready on time the staff were incredibly attentive always checking in on us. Beautiful food and drinks. The playground and toilets were tidy!! Cannot recommend chipmunks Napier enough, it is just what Hawkes bay needs. Well done guys, keep it up!!

   Have been here heaps since it opened and even booked a birthday party for my daughter. Went super well for the birthday party. I do wonder what the max capacity is though as can come quite daunting by the entire playground being packed. No issues with cafe food/drink. Pleased with how everything goes. I have also checked the other Chipmunks around NZ and Hawkes Bay unfortunately appears to be the most expensive for entry / birthday parties.

   Super cool! The kids loved it. You can't bring outside food in and the cafe is a little pricy but good portion sizes. I went during the week with my kids and it wasn't too busy either. I bet it'd be crazy during the weekends or after school
