“Me and my girlfriend went to this place and did the bloodstone keep and it was personally the most high quality escape room I have ever been too. We felt very integrated into the story, the puzzle were meaning full and very interactive. The props were amazing. Hints were good and the staff was truly amazing (there was even a puppy while we were waiting which was so cool!!) The staff really added to the story of the rooms (getting into character which I found really cool and funny from sitting at a table nearby.) By far one of my top experiences with reasonable difficulty to do with people. Would recommend highly and 100% worth the price. We only planned to go once on our 2 week trip but with our experience today we will be making a second trip”

“The only thing bad about Raglan Boat Charters is that eventually it'll end and you'll have to go home - and that will be a sad time. Raglan Boat Charters is a great experience. The staff are amazing, friendly, informative, helpful, will bend over backwards to help you out or get you on a tour. We did the sunset tour on a perfect night and it was a blast. In a truly Kiwi experince, Fish and Chips were delivered before we left - the perfect entree to what was to come. We took a tikitour around the Raglan harbour where the sights were enjoyed and the history of the harbour explained. Birdlife was plentiful, as were the stingray! The Captain gave us a few of his secret fishing spots - but you have to do the tour if you want to find out more about that. As we cruised around, a wicked soundtrack of sing-along party hits played and created a really fun atmosphere. The cruise was more than 90 minutes - incredible value for money and an experience you'll be wanting to repeat quickly! 10 stars.”

“What a hidden gem in a lovely lane! Loving the taste, 1/3 of sugar is sweet enough and the milk is actually rich enough in the milk tea in comparison to other shops, music is great too! The traditional milk tea (from Taiwan) is like the one I had in Taiwan! The owner is an awesome person and the pearls (tapioca pearls) are freshly made too, which is rare!!!”

“Always awesome. As a couple we would visit Bootleg at least monthly and each visit is just a great experience. The venue is comfy, rustic, an excellent example of giving life into an old building. The staff go out of their way to welcome us and free tastings are part of the experience. I am not an avid craft beer drinker, but there are so many other options, cider/sours/ lagers...the rhubarb cider when on tap is amazing. Thanks Bootleg team”

The samosa entrée was superb, and the chef accommodated our request for a combination prawn and chicken madras, making it perfect for sharing and easy on the wallet and waistline. “I have made many orders over the years and I am pleased with the fast postage and excellent quality herbs and spices. Leena spices have a good range to choose from, in different quantities to suit your needs and at a much better price than supermarkets. I especially like the Moroccan spice mix, with a thin coating on some chicken drums and then baking till golden makes a delicious main dish. I have never had any problems with my orders and usually make two large purchases a year to keep my pantry stocked with all the herbs and spices I need. OMG...I just saw all the new spice mixes, so I will be making an order soon :)”

“I was visiting Good Honest Tattoo and popped into Space Cadet to grab a quick coffee. I got to meet Nico (owner) and Matty who are just the coolest dudes. Like kiwi hospitality and chillness through and through. And if that wasn't enough Nico is a coffee maestro and brewed me the best tasting batch coffee (including using a V60) I've ever had. Legends!!”

“It was our first time to Blue Haven Berries and we were surprised with the huge ice-cream servings. Customer services was awesome. Environment was family friendly as my kids enjoyed running around under trees and in the field. Looking forward to our next trip to Hamilton just to enjoy an ice cream.”

“Amazing experience!! I went there with my family and we all felt we stepped into another world! The place is exactly like the movie scenes from Lord of the Rings and we all felt like we were the movie characters, moving through the place. It really is like walking into a fantasy realm, the houses are all so small and looks like only dwarf or smurf can live inside. But surprisingly, they let us visit inside one of the houses and all the movie props were preserved so well! Everything was so lifelike and some of the props such as the cooking pot was shaking and even had steam blowing out. The fire place was real too, with real wood and real fire. At first i thought it was a fake fire made of paper but when i walked over and felt the heat, o realised it was a real fire!! It's definitely a must visit tourist spot, highly recommend!!”
