   Tried the enchiladas and the Para Vegetariano—both were absolutely delicious. The enchiladas were perfectly baked with rich, well-seasoned sauce and generous filling, making every bite comforting and satisfying. The Para Vegetariano was fresh, colourful, and full of flavour, proving that vegetarian dishes can be just as hearty and exciting. Great portion sizes and well-balanced tastes. Definitely worth ordering again!

   Flavourful Mexican in Hamilton! I wonder if this is the only Mexican restaurant in the Hamilton City Centre too? They have a large range of items in their menu. Whilst the portion size does look a little small, it is enough to keep you full. The day we went their there the restaurant wasn't busy but food felt like it took much longer to come out. The fried chicken nibbles was cooked by deep frying and no batter coating but they maintained the tenderness of the meat. Most foods come with their own sauces/salsa and some freshly fried tortilla chips and was light ansd refreshing.

   My partner and I had an amazing experience here! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and genuine. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating such a comforting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely incredible, full of flavour, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You can tell it’s made with heart. The portions were generous too; we only took home half an empanada, one chicken wing, and a bit of salad because we were just that full and satisfied. And the churros… easily the best we’ve ever had, soft, golden, and perfectly paired with their sauces. Compared to other places, this meal stood out in every way. As someone who’s half Filipino, I really value food that’s made with soul and warmth, and this place delivered that completely. It left my heart so full and happy, the way good food should. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, El Mexicano Zapata Cantina, for giving us such a beautiful experience filled with flavour, care, and genuine hospitality.

   The food was tasty, it came out real quick. We ordered food that we could share. Grandma doesn't usually like, but she loved the fried chicken, empanada and slaw. We will be back. Thank you, my puku is very full. Everyone eas so nice. Great atmosphere.

   Had a great time for our son's birthday dinner, 6 stars if I could. From the time we were greeted by Sharmaine (front of house) and throughout the meal, there were genuine smiles, concern for our meal and experience. The food was delicious and the churros are a perfect way to end such a great meal.

   Such a great dining experience. Went out for lunch with a friend and from the get go i was treated by the most amazing team. both our servers were great but another gentleman who spoke to us was also so lovely and even offered to take our photos. the food is divine and definitely doesn’t hold back on flavour as i feel most international cuisine restaurants do.

   Overall best experience. I loved the menu they have...so much to choose from especially if you are vegan or vegetarian. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was awesome. I will definitely visit again. Highly recommended and go to from me. If you are visiting for lunch may be okay not to book but for dinner you should book in advance. They have options for reservations.

   This place has very tasty dishes. I ate the vegetarian chimichunga and it was extremely delicious. The portion sizes are very large so you get your money's worth. It also means you don't have to order more dishes because of how filling they are. The restaurant is slightly cramped but not enough to really bother you if the restaurant isn't busy. Previously, i ordered online pickupfrom this restaurant and the staff were kind enough to call me that my order was ready for pick up. The level of service is top notch.
