This was my 5th time visiting Hobbiton and 2nd time on the evening banquet tour. It truly is a magical place. Highly recommend the evening banquet tour, with a delicious feast at The Green Dragon after a guided stroll through the Shire. Tour guides James and Mike really made us feel at home. Kia ora whanau, we will be back!

This has to be the best pub on earth. Middle earth. After a long journeyβthere is no beter place to return to than the Green Dragon Pub. Trust me, this spot is truly precious. βThe views of the Shire from the outdoor tables are simply breathtaking. You can practically see all the way to Farmer Maggot's feilds. It's the absolute best part of the whole Hobbiton experience; while the tour is excellent, nothing beats sitting down here and feeling like you've finally come home. βNow, for the serious business: the libations. This establishment serves the best beers in all of Middle-earth, hands down. I can personally attest that the stout was the bestβa dark, comforting brew that felt like a reward for carrying a massive burden. For those hot days, their cider is also very nice and incredibly refreshing. The only problem is you might be tempted to stay for Second Breakfast, Elevenses, Luncheon... you get the picture. βFinally, even the practical details are handled with charm. The loos are also themed, adding a fun touch to a necessary stop, but don't worry, they are thankfully not hobbit sized. Our tour guide was Sam H Ledge.

Amazing experience!! I went there with my family and we all felt we stepped into another world! The place is exactly like the movie scenes from Lord of the Rings and we all felt like we were the movie characters, moving through the place. It really is like walking into a fantasy realm, the houses are all so small and looks like only dwarf or smurf can live inside. But surprisingly, they let us visit inside one of the houses and all the movie props were preserved so well! Everything was so lifelike and some of the props such as the cooking pot was shaking and even had steam blowing out. The fire place was real too, with real wood and real fire. At first i thought it was a fake fire made of paper but when i walked over and felt the heat, o realised it was a real fire!! It's definitely a must visit tourist spot, highly recommend!!

Absolutely the best part of the tour. Everything about The Green Dragon transports you to another place, right into the heart of Hobbiton. I kept expecting to find Rosie serving stout to Samwise, and Ted Sandyman yarning off in a corner to his cronies. So many nooks and crannies to explore. I really wish you could hire it out for this like Dungeons and Dragons.

The Green Dragon Inn is the final stop on your Hobbiton adventure, and it's a fantastic place to relax and have a drink. You can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or order some food if you're hungry. Just keep in mind that there's a time limit, so don't order too much. The atmosphere is wonderful, with cozy lighting and a warm fire pit. It's one of the few places in Hobbiton where you can actually go inside and explore, so make the most of it! Take in the unique surroundings and enjoy your time at The Green Dragon Inn.

Be a Hobbit for a day, down at Hobbiton's local pub in the Shire. The boutique brews were really good, and you can actually buy them to take home. Their savoury pies are spectacular, both meat and vegetarian choices. These can be enjoyed in front of a large log fireplace, with plenty of seating, indoors, and outdoors. You can also dress up and have your photos taken, looking like resident Hobbits, employed at the Green Dragon Inn

The Hobbiton Village experience is magical! The tour is well organized but also leisurely with lots of time for photos. Big shout out to our guide, Merlin, for all the little known fun facts about the filming. The beer at the end was a nice surprise!
