“The place is worth a try. The atmosphere is wonderful and makes you feel warm in this cold winter. It was a wonderful experience for me this morning and the girl who was at the reception was very wonderful. The service is excellent. Do not miss the opportunity to try the Swiss Roll Cake. It is one of the best cakes I have tried in my life. It is light and fluffy and the piece is an excellent size.”

“I have been wanting to try this place for some time now on my work visits down from Auckland. Glad I finally did, new fav Hamilton restaurant! Service was outstanding, food was absolutely delicious. I had the Turkish meatballs as per wait staff recommendation (I would not normally order this dish first up) and I did not regret it. Portion size was not huge (which I prefer) so room for desert and the baklava and tahini ice cream did not disappoint. You can tell there are some generational recipes being passed down here. Yum!”

“The bar tenders are so creative and really know their stuff! I'm a huge fan of their drink option "the golden ratio" I get it every single time and it's always so good. Love watching them make the drinks too, some wicked skills. Definitely a must stop for anyone in Hamilton for the night”

“As a first-time visitor to Cambridge, I stumbled upon the Tree House Cafe when I was hungry and unsure where to have lunch. The unique and inviting interior, along with their delicious homemade dishes, such as pies, snacks, cakes, and burgers, exceeded my expectations. “I took a group of 8 ladies to Alpino on Saturday for a Luxe Day Out for my business Her Luxe Travel and we had a phenomenal time. Not only were Alpino great to work with to set up how I wanted the experience, on the day they delivered 110%. The food was to die for, service was friendly and efficient. We were sat in the area at the front that is somewhat closed off from the rest of the restaurant and it couldn't have been more perfect. Definitely glad I've chosen Alpino for my Retreat welcome lunches ☺️”

“We adore this place - they serve incredibly fresh fish (their nigiri platter is delicious!), freshest fish in Hamilton. Their food is always perfectly cooked and beautifully prepared. “Went to dine in last April 9th. The food at chim thai is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and manager Jess is so friendly, accomodating with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place. “Could not fault the waitstaff or food. The team were knowledgeable and talented in their execution of service. Plates were flavorful, spicy dishes were not overly hot, portions were suitable for sharing, and standard serves of 3 pieces could be made 4 to match our table number. A standout was the cocktail menu, with combinations I’ve not seen before leaving me wondering how to choose 2 when I really wanted to try 4. The space is flexible with indoor, outdoor and standing areas, but book outdoors if the weather is good and the temperature is warm. Would recommend and would dine there again. “Great little place, very friendly staff and the the food was phenomenal. I ordered the chicken tacos, Hubby wanted the Hawaiian burger but they were out of pineapple. The server recommended their top two sellers and he went with the Korean Chicken burger and it was fantastic. It was like a buffalo chicken without the heat. Portions were very large too. We were surprised with the complex yet light flavors and hinestly did not expect that from this quaint looking little place. The atmosphere could use a little more sprucing to reflect the great quality of the food but other than that, no complaints!”

The class selection, cafe food/drinks, heated pool and friendly staff definitely make the experience so amazing!”

“My partner and I came here twice for brunch, the first time we both had granola, fruit, and yoghurt (pictured) and it was really good. The second time we had the zucchini fritters (also pictured) which was amazing and tasty. We also ordered lattes which was a nice, strong hug. The service was also great, the cafe is the busiest place in town but there's no shortage of very friendly staff.”
