“The Vegan Poke bowl at Pickle and Plum was one of the most delicious meals I’ve possibly ever had ! Could easily fill two people for lunch and had the most amazing flavours. Will definitely be going back for another. As an extra touch it would be lovely to have some vegan baked goods in the cabinet !”
“Wow! What an amazing meal. Up there with the best food I have ever had. Flavours on point and everything was cooked to perfection. Friendly courteous and delightful staff. Totally awesome evening thank you. We will be back Visited Stallions yet again and everything was just divine. Best Espreeso Martini I’ve ever had.”

“Found this cool little cafe by fluke as we were making a quick visit to Te Awamutu and decided to stop in for breakfast, upon entering it didn't look like much but the service and food spoke volumes, the prices were outstanding my darling had Eggs Benedict and I had a mixed grill ( 2 eggs/2 toast/bacon/a sausage and a hash brown, very thankful we choose this cafe.”
“We had our team Christmas lunch at Storyteller yesterday, and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly timed — nothing was too much trouble. The food was the real standout. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and arrived fresh and hot. There was a great selection to suit everyone, and the portions were spot on. The atmosphere was festive without being over the top, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed team celebration!”

“Good food choices. Fresh as. Coffee okay but mild if you don't want it strong then very good.”
“Cheap and fun place to hang out. Ate dinner upstairs. The food was great. We had pizza. Apparently the beef shin was delicious. The waiter was a hoot. Very efficient and helpful, but also really nice and professional. Can't remember his name; tall with glasses and hair pulled back.”
“Great food and a lovely atmosphere! My only suggestion would be to update the prices on the website menu, as they don’t match what’s currently being charged at the restaurant.”
