“Very old and welcoming. Great Professors and students alike”
“Uniflat! One of the good opportunities to explore the culture from other countries by staying in sharing apartments. They will provide you with accommodation based on your education and background and also based on your hobbies. However, sometimes the office staff was rude and couldn't understand the practical straight away problem. They are nice, but do not know how to deal with the students. They only make transactions from Thursday to Thursday which is wrong, I paid 3 days extra rent. They need to learn how to calculate and do best for the students.”
“A very good place to stay. Very comfortable, clean and wonderful obliging staff. The bed, pillows and room was great”
“I don't get why the reviews here are so low, just because it's a clinic and you go there because of something that's making you feel bad doesn't mean that it's a poor institution. A public Healthcare service is fundamentally different than something like a pub or tattoo parlor. Firstly the staff are all nice enough, including reception which is a fairly boring/draining position. I'm a visible minority and an international student and genderqueer, if there was any discrimination I'd notice it, but nope nothing. Wait and reservation times during busy periods can go for weeks to maybe two months depending on the specialization of what you're requesting, but this is a pretty good speed if you compare with public Healthcare elsewhere in other countries etc. And for anything that can be done at walk-in, yeah the pace is great. In terms of the actual healthcare, everyone makes it a comfortable environment, which in of itself makes any treatment procedures discussion etc easier. Staff are also willing to accommodate and speed up processes avoid road bumps etc to make the service more efficient faster logical you get the idea. Glad to see people aren't bending over backward to follow healthcare beauracracy when it doesn't make sense. It's not like you have surgery or anything precise here, so there aren't really measures of procedure quality that can be used as points of detriment for here. I could not get one of my medications I got prescribed for back home, but it's simpmy not legally produced in New Zealand that's out of their hands. For mental health psychiatrist therapy etc it's more subjective what your experience is, but I didn't have any issues with my appointment. Can't speak for others obviously, but even if you felt you had or it just was a poor session, it is not reflective of all the collective services here. TLDR yall trippin, this is a good service. Would like to see people try out healthcare clinics in USA or Germany or heaven forbid a developing country.”
“Great place to see students from the school of performing arts putting on performances in the loveliest art of the university.”
“We stopped again on the way out. The cinnamon scroll is still great”
“Nice place with a good view of the clock tower (other than a little blockage from the tree). Coffee is good and the food selection looks nice.”
“A great cheaper alternative to Subway”
Union Grill leans into a burger-led approach with no fuss. Pricing lines up with the offer. Orders move at a steady clip. Kūmara fries and sides add a tidy finish. Service stays present without fuss.
“Beautiful facility, lots of equipment that caters to each body part. Love the row machine and the cross trainer. Really good quality machines! Probably the best I've been on, in terms of gym equipment. Does get packed, just need to find that moment that is suitable for your needs. Thanks Unipol!!”
“Had Bianca cover the sale of our property. An outstanding job with amazing communication and efficiency - a complete turn around from our previous experience with another well known Dunedin firm. Would highly recommend using Bianca’s service.”
“It's a basic student venue. Beer on tap, some house wine, nothing flash. Perfect for a rowdy band.”
“Situated in the UBS, the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful when it comes to posting parcels and filling in the necessary forms.”
“Perfect fit for following the Otago Rally over the weekend with the grandchild. So great to have the animals for him to feed and spend time each day after watching the Rally car's. We even got a farewell when departing.”
“The benevolent warlock who works here ensures no rogue spirits nor curses linger in the halls of Hayward. His command of magic means that where other halls have the haunting calls of past souls at night, hayward instead remains in peaceful silence. Although the warlock is an often overlooked member of staff in contemporary society, Hayward affirms how important a single warlock can be on the living standards of a residence.”
“First time trying to control an airplane, it was soooo insane!!!! Love it!”
“One of the nicer Uni buildings by far, always warm and cozy, plenty of place to study, and with a cafe, I can't really complain, Seminar rooms are also really nice.”
“Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and people and comfortable rooms. Brilliant food.”
“The centre is currently closed, however this is the perfect place to park, taking in the scenery”
“Extremely friendly and informative staff. Neat and good accommodation.”
“Great environment, everyone is extremely kind”
“Cheers for the lecture space at short notice, and for the IT support”
“Nice clean lecture theatres that fit a few hundred people each, couldn't really ask for much more than that.”
“It's a undergrade students hostel. It has 37 apartments, each has 6 rooms. They are safe, warm and comfortable. Each apartment also has a kitchen / lounge area where residents socialise, relax and may prepare snack meals. For breakfast, there's a choice of cereals, breads, fruit and at least one hot dish every day. For lunch and dinner, there's a choice of mains with a vegetarian option always available. Fruit, vegetables, self-serve salads, desserts and a variety of drinks help to make meal times enjoyable and social occasions. Additionally, They provide so many things like bike-car parking, exercise room, laundry room and library too. This is the ideal place to live honestly.”
“Love the pride flag! Neat and tidy facilities! Plenty of off street parking for visitors!”
“Residential College at Otago University. Great staff!!”
“Great school, highly recommend it. It truly does live by the morals of respectful, motivated and inclusive!”
