Situated in the UBS, the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful when it comes to posting parcels and filling in the necessary forms.
The staff seemed reluctant to help me, when I was simply making enquiries. This was often the case when I traveled around Dunedin. Maybe I looked too strange to some of the people there. There was one place in particular that welcomed me, and that was a fantastic homemade pie shop near the red cross welfare organisation centre south of Queen's Park. Not far south of Stuart Street. But south of the Octogon. Thomas Stevens a somewhat lost returnee to Dunedin.

On Monday, I sent a parcel of 2.5kg - size 2 box from DUN to AKL and asked for cheapest service. The lady at the bookshop said to me that the cheapest price was $33.70 (the othe one was over $70). Of course I chose the cheapest service and she charged me $33.70. Actually, when I got home, I looked up from the quotation on NZ post website. It is saying that the cheapest service was $14.40. And the $33.70 was for overnight courier with non signature or value of parcel over $250. In fact, my parcel neither costed $250 nor delivered with overnight service. Today is Wednesday but my friend has not received my parcel yet. The staff of the NZ postoffice at University bookshop was not helpful in checking the appropriate price.
Every time I have been to the post shop the customer service has been awful, the people are rude and very abrupt. Seriously need some help with their customer service skills
I visited the NZ post shop located in university book shop on 25th February at 1:50pm. I have applied for an Ird which I have not received. I asked for help or any contact number. The ladies at the post shop are extremely racist. She said why you come to us? There is absolutely nothing we can do and go away. I will make an official complaint against her. Unprofessional and racist behaviour not at all acceptable. I will bring this to the notice of higher authorities.
My experience in this bank is pleasant most of the time except on occasions when one of the staff is clearly having a bad day and can't hide her annoyance from the customers. Other than that they provide the service I expect from this organisation. The staff member has been assigned in the other branch along Moray Place and still manage to spoil the high quality of service customers expect.
