“I’ve used Read before for outboard services and today I popped in for an issue with an inflatable boat pump I brought from them. Questionable if it was user error or a product fault. I didn’t have my receipt etc. They sorted it out on the spot. No messing around. Very highly recommended! I was super impressed with their attitude and customer service! They have a great team!”

“We have had so much fun here over the years that Animal Ark has been open, my kids love it and it’s it’s been wonderful to bring them somewhere to meet animals outside of our very grumpy old cat. The animals are always in great condition and happily pottering along waiting for some snacks. Owners/staff are really friendly, always explain the rules really simply and clearly to the kids. We’ve made so many cool memories here and I’m really grateful for that.”

“This is where I go for the spices the supermarket no longer stocks. For me, in particular, mace for my plum sauce recipe. But they stock a lot of indian foods and haberdashery from india. That includes incense, individual spices for cooking your own ethnic food. If you're Indian or from the middle east, and in Dunedin, drop by. The proprietor is a lovely guy and you just pat your heart by way of greeting if you don't have the language.”
