The store's ambiance is welcoming with cards and a range of gifts kiosk at the front,but lighting could be better, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, making the browsing experience even more enjoyable. While the science fiction collection could be expanded, and there is a limited range of fountain pens and mechanical pencils, the store compensates with a diverse array of gift items that are worth exploring. One of the standout features is the "Best 100 Books" leaflet, which provides excellent reading recommendations. There is a toy section as well. The stationary is wonderful, though I missed Uniball collection. Which is a personal choice and bias. Overall, Whitcoulls Dunedin is a must-visit for book enthusiasts and a lazy stroll for anyone anytime.
