βWe read a review somewhere when looking for a beer and it said Jones is the best publican ever. He is the man. Had a great couple of pints and chat, discussing all things music/flying nun/family heritage/brewery history. Thanks for your time today and keep the music going!β
On the plate at ADJΓ, the idea is coffee-and-cabinet and well executed. Cabinet bakes and slices round out the stop. A familyβfriendly feel comes through naturally. Frontβofβhouse runs with calm, helpful energy.
βTook my moko there. Love the ambience and enjoyed the movie. Although when purchasing tickets, would be good if we could see how long the movie is. I wasn't expecting Jurassic Park to be so long.β
βGood selection of beer and spirits. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Definately worth a visit.β
βSo good, I was front row. Pretty much on stage.β
βWhat a find! We wondered why it was so busy on a Monday night, until we got our meals. This is pub food at its best. Great food, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. My blue cod had crispy batter, with moist, generous fillets inside. Couldn't fault it. If you're in Dunedin and want food like it used to be, try the Concord Inn.β
βLovely old place, feels like a real theater. I'm sure plenty a story has been told through the magic of a live show.β
βFive stars for ENYA MCNEILLS review. Crying laughingβ
βThe staff and the patrons here are what make it. Fierce craic altogether and a mighty place for a pint! Destiny the bar lady was so nice and welcomingβ
βQuirky and enthusiastic theatre, not part of the mainstream. Love this place. Also hass a lovely library.β
βPretty nice winding forest walk, steep in some parts. Seemed to be a bit of a wasp problem higher up currently, but there were warning signs up.β
βI definitely loved this place, the food is amazing, the staffs are nice and they have live music.β
βExcellent tiered seating, but it's a climb to get up the staircase. Excellent viewing, staging, lighting, and sound system.β
βGood for ages 2 - 6 after that age go to the school for kids to playβ
βA lovely local pub meal. The pan fried blue cod was outstanding and hubby's snitzel definitely hit the spot. A calm atmosphere. Would highly recommend.β
βWe like this playground. It provides confidence and stretches our grandchilds ability. It's handy for parking, toilets very handy. It's a sunny spot. Seating is available. Sports grounds next door. Good area for small children to play on equipment and large area for kicking a ball or running aroundβ
βWe're spending a few days bouncing around south South Island, New Zealand, and as a North American who now lives in this wonderful, I am VERY AWARE of how kiwis love to slip beets into everything. So I am wary. Watchful. Borderline suspicious. However, we had a fantastic dinner at Vault 21 and very little of that was due to the delightful lack of beets. Allyson was our server and a total joy. She helped us navigate some shared dishes while also ensuring my dinner partner and I got a bit of the stuff we liked (but the other might not). Pierogies were great, fried not boiled, and just melted across your tongue. Lamb was very tender. The sliders awesome and thankfully not those messy types that turn you into a BBQ-slathered freak where you end up with bits of napkin confetti all over your face, waving brown-papered hands as you beg your server for wet wipes or damp bath towels. And a huge order of fries! Very tasty and the bowl was as big as your head. Awesome. Had all sorts of dinners and lunches this past week, but so far, Vault 21 tops them all. Highly recommended.β
βFantabulously delicious cocktails. More people need to know about this hidden gemβ
βClassic NZ bar, relaxed atmosphere. Big smokers area with outdoor heating. TAB betting and big pokies room. Ladies behind the bar were lovely. $9 a pint of Speights is good enough. beats paying $15 for a small pint in town!β
Mosgiel Tavern runs with a grill-focused menu and a relaxed feel. Grill work shows a clean sear and rested meats. Value feels fair for the spread. Good value shows in the serve sizes. Frontβofβhouse r...
The kitchen at Valley Lodge Bar & TAB takes a simple, bistro-style path and lets the food speak. Views add a quiet lift to the visit. Service stays present without fuss. Portions are generous yet well judged.
βTook the team to the Naughty Christmas Horror show at Larnach Castle - best night weβve had in so long! Doug is amazing - so talented and professional. Location fantastic, so many laughs, great music and heaps of fun. Love your work Doug!β
βThis preschool is a Christian one. My daughter came home with a whole bunch of God stuff! We are not Christian but respect the religion. Great honestly for non-chritstian and Christian! Rachel is lovely :)β
