    Since the new owner has taken over and employed indian staff over the great locals ladys that did work there, the place has gone down hill This was highly reflected by the last experience when the new indian staff member tryed to short change my girlfriend $50 and over priced her drink by double ! When quesioning him for her money back , he argued the point in front of customers causing a spectacle of himself He only acted fairly once he realized she wasnt alone ...and i had to step in. These men have zero respect for women . Very disappointing in what used to be my trusted local . I will certainly never return !

    Held an event in the upstairs function room and it's an awesome, intimate but surprisingly roomy space. Facilities were clean and easy to transform into how we wanted to utilize the space. Hospitality of the whole team was awesome and collaborative to make the evening one to truly remember. A wonderful overall experience. Highly recommended function space.

    Classic NZ bar, relaxed atmosphere. Big smokers area with outdoor heating. TAB betting and big pokies room. Ladies behind the bar were lovely. $9 a pint of Speights is good enough. beats paying $15 for a small pint in town!

    Had never been there before. Caramel Groove were the entertainment. The place could do with some renovations, but had a great night listening , singing and dancing to their awesome music.

    The Kilda is a true old pub, it hasn't changed much in many years. Its an amazing old icon. Thats were my granddad would have drunk back in the day, lovely friendly staff too, they have a good games room set up,
