    Very rude customer service by staff . My old man was yelled at when he asked for help to put money on the horses . The bar was not busy in the afternoon and my old man was confuzed to put money on machine , he asked help from the staff . He got frustated and yelled at my old man . Definitely my family and community will never come here ever with this service .

    Our whānau came here, we will never return. From the moment we walked in the bar staff were rude and unfriendly. So much so that we all walked out. I'd rate lower if possible. The pub is dark and run down.

    Highly recommended . The staff is super friendly . We booked in for about 20 people as it was my dad’s death anniversary and it was his local pub where he spent hours and hours drinking lol. The lady manager RAI would go above and beyond to help the customer in any way possible. She looked after us very well and was very friendly to us , gave us invitations to be there for kareoke nights which they usually have it on fridays . I would love to go back there to see a big beautiful smile on her face which is not really possible to see on other bar staff faces at other places anymore. Food was awesome and huge drinks list

    They told us they do courtesy rides. We ordered a ride and waited. When they took too long we asked where they were they said they had been. This is not correct! We were waiting outside and they never came.

    Iconic Dunedin watering hole. Come in and meet the locals, some of whom have drunk here for 50 years!! Friendly warm bar can get pretty rockin on thurday and friday nights.

    The girls and I came for PINK, we stayed at top ten. Stoked as to find a pub right across the road. The patrons , locals , the staff A++ everyone welcomed us canterbrians and were so easy going and to top it off it was karaoke night . I'll be back one day and remember my drink is a double jack tall glass a little ice with a straw. Thanks everyone From Sez , Lisa & Coles
