Put us onto another contractor who helped repair our bench tops and sorted out other niggles for us…and made sure everything had been fixed as we wanted. Would recommend them for larger jobs due to the care they took with our small job.”

“I ordered online, but it turns out that they didn't have one of the items in stock. Personally, I think the mark of a great business is how they respond when things go wrong. I was contacted near instantly by their staff on Monday, who were apologetic and offered me my choice of several solutions, and enacted my preferred one within minutes of my response. “This review is going to be quite long as the Lanark team have done a lot on our home and I want to make sure I don’t miss anything out. Lanark first came to our attention when we brought them in for a second opinion on a broken toilet that a different plumber had told us couldn’t be fixed. Donovan managed to get it working again that day and then made plans with us to come back in a few months to replace it at a time that worked better for us. The next project was an update to our gutters. I’d been trying for literally a year to get someone to come and give us a quote and kept being given the runaround by specialist companies who didn’t seem to take on our irregularly shaped roof. I eventually found a team willing to take the job on, only for it to quickly become apparent they were woefully unqualified to complete the job. In a passing conversation, my daughter mentioned Lanark does guttering and roofing, and again we got Donovan around for a second opinion. He was at our house within a few hours, where he pointed out many instances of unsafe and sub-par workmanship from the other team. He helped us navigate out of our contract with the other team and had his team on site within a few weeks with proper materials and the classic Lanark can-do attitude. The gutters look amazing now and have been performing excellently. When it was time to update our aging Heat Pump Lanark was our first call. The team were incredible, great advice, quick turn around and the new heat pump runs like a dream, so warn and quiet! Honestly, I wish we’d done it years ago. It’s gotten to the stage now where we get them around for any odd job we think of to make our home more comfortable. They were in last week to baby-proof our TV and move some power outlets; as always quick, friendly and impeccable finish. I can’t rate Donovan, Rhys and the team highly enough. The quality of their work is outstanding, and they’re genuinely a pleasure to have in your home, always respectful of our space, and nothing is too much trouble. Absolutely wonderful to work with.”

“The night before I was flying back to Auckland I was walking past Weirs and I saw the most beautiful coat stand in their front window. Unfortunately, they weren't open until Monday and I wouldn't be there, however, in talking with Jayne over the coming days and she sent me photos of the coat stand, I bought it and it was transported up to Auckland. Weirs took great care in protecting the coat hooks, tiles and mirror for its journey north and having seen the coat stand up close, which I'd not done before I bought it, I am extremely happy with my purchase. It's a very beautiful piece of furniture! Thank you to Jayne and her team for your communication, care and organising the transport to me in Auckland. “As soon as we stepped in the door to The Tile Space we were warmly greeted and Chantal the Assistant Manager listened to our description of what we were looking for. She then provided very helpful different options of tiles that were to our taste. Also she was able to produce computer generated mock ups of our bathroom incorporating the choice of tile options we thought might work for us. In addition we were provided with samples of different tiles to take home to test in our bath rooms. Excellent service!”

“This shop is always pumping with customers. From novice to professional photographers to end consumers wanting bespoke services specific to their image printing requirements. We have a very special water colour painting in our family that we wanted to print a copy on to Canvas. Simon, Jono and the team went out of their way to look after us the make print look as authentic as they could. They looked after our treasured painting and treated it with respect when handling it to get the scan done as close as to perfection. I can highly recommend these guys for those special services on printing or transferring your family memories from multiple platforms and devices. Thank you so much for the great service and product. An Extremely helpful and knowledgeable guy, he quickly diagnosed the problem and even gave us helpful tips for our other appliances. Once the freezer had frosted enough for a repair, Ollie came to our house to carry it out. He did so very efficiently.
