“Very nice receptionist who allowed me to check in before the norm check in time and specifically did up the bed to accommodate me. Cheers for that. Nicely done up bathroom which is impressive. So far the only bathroom with heating rod to keep the hand towels dry. Rooms are spacious w a mobile heater which warm up the room. Lots of storage beneath, on the side and a panel inside the pod to keep some necessities. Extra storage near the receptionist upon request. Super impressed by the Japanese receptionist who even help carry luggage to the room.”
“We have been dealing with Warwick and his team for a few years now - with our kids studying in Dunedin. We can’t rate his service, communication and care high enough. He goes out of his way to help. Highly recommended.”
“My five stars that I've given are all for our server who was Harshit. Harshit was very helpful, friendly, prompt and made the dining experience very positive. I have to add how good the ambience was beautiful surroundings. My husband and I appreciated watching the birds as we looked out the window while dining. (Not all seagulls)”
“Favorite place for clothes- 2 floors of good quality and great prices and you are reducing consumer waste”
“An absolute treasure, I am so excited to have found you - everything from the beautiful drive, stunning location, incredible spa treatment, amazing attention to detail and knowledge is just such a blessing.”

“This shop is terrific! It's split into two different spaces, one dedicated to books, music, etc. and the other space is general op shop stuff. I adore the book level, it's essentially a quality second hand bookshop with op shop prices. If you find yourself at one of these spaces, ask the way to the other as it's not obvious. I don't live in Ōtepoti, however, go there semi-regularly. I drove past the lower level a few times, eventually made time to stop in. I'd gone in few times before a staff member asked me if I knew about the upper level.”
“I always grab my matcha latte from here. It’s my little pre-workout ritual before heading to the gym! The staff here are amazing and always so friendly. One time I came in totally distracted and couldn’t remember my order (I always get the same thing), and the kind barista said, “almond milk matcha latte?”. Ever since then he just asks, “the usual?” and makes it perfect each time. It’s small gestures like that that make the experience so special. Great matcha, even better service!”
“Bourg here some plastic container made in New Zealand, superb quality and nice looking. Also I bought some knitting stuff. The space is enormous and things were very organized. The prices were reasonable. I wish that I had more time to spend here.”
