βI can't thank the team at After Hours for Pets enough! When our dog suddenly became very ill late at night, we were frantic and didn't know what to do. Thankfully, their incredible team was available after hours and took immediate action. Thanks to their prompt and compassionate care, our dog's life was saved. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine kindness made all the difference during a very stressful time. I highly recommend After Hours for Pets to any pet owner β they truly went above and beyond for our dog all thanks to the after hour.β
βEverything was perfect, very nice staffβ
βCame here for my ringneck parrot who was shaking and had a vitamin deficiency. The staff know there stuff β¨ Jose Doo went the extra mile even checking in every few days!!β
βGreat people, great small town vetβ
βJess and Emma and the rest of the team were absolutely amazing. I took my dog in for a simple procedure but when they found some anomalies they went above and beyond to look into it and to provide me with help and reassurance. The whole team is always so friendly and helpful and they always follow up with phone calls to check in. Highly recommend. Thank you from myself and Billie girl.β
βIβve been bringing my dog(s) to this clinic since 2018, when I first moved to the area. From day one, the staff have been nothing short of amazingβfriendly, caring, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. I love that I can phone up and they know exactly who me and my dog(s) are. Even after moving 1.5+ hours away, I still make the trip back to LR because I simply wonβt take my dog anywhere else. I highly recommend VetLife LR and the wonderful team to any pet owner who wants the absolute best care for their pets. Thank you, from Courtney & Pip (ex WV Rd).β
βThis is a lovely local vet clinic which is beautiful and calming. The vets are thorough and have always been really sweet with my cat. I appreciate all the staff I've come across- they're doing a great job.β
βHighly recommend - this is the best vet for your cat in Christchurch. Our rag doll cat, Gus has had some bladder issues recently, which has meant a few visits and follow up calls. Dr Ian has been extremely knowledgable, calm and always patient and understanding with our questions. All of the staff are welcoming and compassionate and clearly dedicated to the wellbeing of their patients. They've made a stressful time much easier and we are grateful for the care the Cat Vet has provided. Thank you so much!!β
βThe nurses and vets here are amazing. Kind, compassionate and just the best. Special thanks to Sara who helped us hugely with our golden. Beyond grateful for people like her.β
βWe took our furry baby in to this vet. He is a 56.5 kg massive Rottweiler, who doesnβt trust Veterans. He came with us from overseas and the procedure to be here in NZ was so hard and stressful for him. They treated him very well. They took care of him just like a normal friendly dog. They were not afraid of him and he got very professional treatment. We will be back because he has ears infection but now I am happy to work together with a professional doctors and nurses. I highly recommend this place if your pets not just a pet, but family members. The place is tidy and clean.β
βWe just finished appointment with Karen....it was a very professional experience...nice handling....highly recommended..keep the good work ..β
βI was so lucky to find these lovely people. They have been fantastic from the first visit till the last, when I had to euthanize my buddy after 12 years. You feel like they actualy care about your loved furchild, not money, like most businesses now days. Definitely recommend the team, even if you're outside the area, I drove past two vets to get to them each visit for their great service.β
βHighly recommend the team at Paws. Very caring, reassuring and kind. They took great care of our beloved family cat and were very transparent around the cost (which ended up not being as bad as I thought it would be!)β
βWigram vet has been Tory's go to vet / daycare since his day 1, always friendly and nice team to welcome him. Thanks always.β
βFriendly staff Full of information Don't have to wait long for an appointmentβ
βPortia loves going to the vets and I always feel listened to with any concerns I have regarding her health. The team are very friendly and professionalβ
βGreat service, got everything I needed.β
βWeβve taken our beloved cats to Anna for years now. Like many other reviews, we also drive a distance to Anna, we trust her with them both. The boys come home healthy, settled and I feel so relaxed leaving them in her care - thanks Anna!β
βTook a friend here yesterday with Kayla the pup. Prior to going had emailed for information on immunisations. Prompt friendly response from staff. Phoned to book and staff friendly and happy to help. Great staff and very reasonably priced. Visit calm and friendly wait, vet gentle with pup, picked up heart murmur explained it well. Good checkup, information on behaviour management. Suggested puppy schools and trainer. When to worm etc. Loved the backpack/front pack idea for walking around Mitre10 and getting her used to all sorts of people and noises. Great reminders about not putting pup on the ground where unvaccinated dogs Iggy have been, due to high rates of parvovirus in Chch at moment. Iβm going back here to get our girl backup to date health wise. Thankyouβ
βI would highly recommend these guys. Had to see them over a long weekend when our vet was closed and have since transferred our 2 dogs and cat over to them. They are all so helpful and go beyond expectations. They even rang to check up on our cat the following week to see how she was doing and have given us really great advice. They really care about your pets and very well priced. 10 out of 10 βοΈβ
βVery friendly, and unlike others, don't talk to you with an air of superiority, always making you feel like you've been sold something. These guys have put down two of my pets and are so empathetic, and in testing my Rotty the first of the medicine was considerably cheaper than my last vet.β
βYou made our extremely anxious dog feel so comfortable, by welcoming us to pop in with him from time to time to receive a little treat and weight at no cost. He loves to visit now. Thank you for your kindness and patience.β
βA really good vet clinic , my cat is still under treatment so I don't know about her outcome yet .It will be a while to get her stable and ongoing .She couldn't be in better hands. I think she is very unwell ,she went away for 2 -3 days and just came back tonight. I fed her and my stray black cat came in for his fed.they don't get on as he is a real male ,unneutered and think he's a feral/exdomestic cat possibly dumped or left behind when young he did the cat flap next door & got kicked out harshly so came into mine he was starving.. I kicked him out as there was a big cat fight ,mine hid under the bed eventually ,He has scooted out the flap but 5 minures he comes back with this low growl 'keep away' big bluff actually . So I fed him some of that shredded meat and he was one happy cat and he loves milk (I know it's not too good for their lungs apparently) but he drunk 2 bowls and got into the cat biscuits .He's sporadic though I never know when he'll turn up and now I'm allowed to pet him .I slipped him a dewormer tab and is now a pitch black nice cat. The Manx I think is too ill to save Petal needs to sleep but I can't get her out from under the bed . I'm too disabled to reach her ,I tried but shes found a good spot.Mean while I adopted Rufus an 8 year old mixed breed big like a lab. He's a softie ,loves food and likes me the source of delights .He has to sample tit bits off my plate I hand him or I risk losing the whole lot and he loves icecream & custard .Sorry to ramble but I'm in bit of a panic with Petal she needs out and in the cage when I can get her to my vet in Darfield . She had 3 lovely kittens all adopted 2 females with normal tails and a male a real Manx ,a little knub for a tail .He went to my best mates wife. I later thought Darn I shoulda kept him for Petal and us ........She had a good life sole charge I used to see her patrolling the territory and she never figured out a hedgehog we used to feed..............I got a pic somewhere...Oh well, I'll have to call someone I hope she doesn't leave me again.β
βThe vets were amazing the whole time my dog was in their care. They kept me updated regularly with calls, texts, and photos, even at night. They were extremely helpful and affordable, and Iβll forever be grateful for the care my dog received.β
βMy first time at this vets, and was very impressed with the service I got from all of the staff. Very caring. Also gave excellent advice in a non-judgemental way. My boy's foot pad was split open after a mountain adventure, it's the 3rd time he has had this type of injury, but the first time we have been told it isnt a food allergy! I am happy I made the decision to change to VetEnt, and Emma the vet couldn't have been lovelier. Highly recommend.β
βvery good vet clinic. Nice and friendly staffs. Very happy experience to me and my kittensβ€οΈβ
