“Highly recommend - this is the best vet for your cat in Christchurch. Our rag doll cat, Gus has had some bladder issues recently, which has meant a few visits and follow up calls. Dr Ian has been extremely knowledgable, calm and always patient and understanding with our questions. All of the staff are welcoming and compassionate and clearly dedicated to the wellbeing of their patients. They've made a stressful time much easier and we are grateful for the care the Cat Vet has provided. Thank you so much!!”
“The nurses and vets here are amazing. Kind, compassionate and just the best. Special thanks to Sara who helped us hugely with our golden. Beyond grateful for people like her.”
“We took our furry baby in to this vet. He is a 56.5 kg massive Rottweiler, who doesn’t trust Veterans. He came with us from overseas and the procedure to be here in NZ was so hard and stressful for him. They treated him very well. They took care of him just like a normal friendly dog. They were not afraid of him and he got very professional treatment. We will be back because he has ears infection but now I am happy to work together with a professional doctors and nurses. I highly recommend this place if your pets not just a pet, but family members. The place is tidy and clean.”
“We just finished appointment with Karen....it was a very professional experience...nice handling....highly recommended..keep the good work ..”
“I was so lucky to find these lovely people. They have been fantastic from the first visit till the last, when I had to euthanize my buddy after 12 years. You feel like they actualy care about your loved furchild, not money, like most businesses now days. Definitely recommend the team, even if you're outside the area, I drove past two vets to get to them each visit for their great service.”
“Lesley is great. So helpful, understanding and caring. I was very worried about how my skittish little girl Chloe would settle in there for a couple days and the whole process was better than I expected :)”
“My three year old bullmastiff loved his stay ..didn’t want to leave. You can trust Kowai 100% to love your pet like you do. Totally recommend and I am not easy to please. We will be back….soon”
“Highly recommend the team at Paws. Very caring, reassuring and kind. They took great care of our beloved family cat and were very transparent around the cost (which ended up not being as bad as I thought it would be!)”
“Our three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were treated like royalty throughout their many stays in 2023. Michelle and Dave are awesome. My boys always looked so happy on the videos of the day and with each return visit they charged into reception with unbridled enthusiasm. Worth the extra distance of travel knowing they were happy and well cared for. Thank you team, doggy licks from Digby, little Tom and Toby-Tenzing.”
“A Country Home for our dog feels like a luxury hotel break, so we never feel guilty when going on holidays, it is great! Nic run’s her business professionally and efficiently, we are very grateful. Totally recommend A Country Home.”
“Wigram vet has been Tory's go to vet / daycare since his day 1, always friendly and nice team to welcome him. Thanks always.”

“We’ve taken our beloved cats to Anna for years now. Like many other reviews, we also drive a distance to Anna, we trust her with them both. The boys come home healthy, settled and I feel so relaxed leaving them in her care - thanks Anna!”
“Took a friend here yesterday with Kayla the pup. Prior to going had emailed for information on immunisations. Prompt friendly response from staff. Phoned to book and staff friendly and happy to help. Great staff and very reasonably priced. Visit calm and friendly wait, vet gentle with pup, picked up heart murmur explained it well. Good checkup, information on behaviour management. Suggested puppy schools and trainer. When to worm etc. Loved the backpack/front pack idea for walking around Mitre10 and getting her used to all sorts of people and noises. Great reminders about not putting pup on the ground where unvaccinated dogs Iggy have been, due to high rates of parvovirus in Chch at moment. I’m going back here to get our girl backup to date health wise. Thankyou”
“Very friendly, and unlike others, don't talk to you with an air of superiority, always making you feel like you've been sold something. These guys have put down two of my pets and are so empathetic, and in testing my Rotty the first of the medicine was considerably cheaper than my last vet.”
“I've been taking my dogs here for years and the groomers are so careful and professional - recommend to all, also have used the daycare services when I go away and the dogs have been well loved and cared for.”
“You made our extremely anxious dog feel so comfortable, by welcoming us to pop in with him from time to time to receive a little treat and weight at no cost. He loves to visit now. Thank you for your kindness and patience.”
“Everything was perfect, very nice staff”
“A really good vet clinic , my cat is still under treatment so I don't know about her outcome yet .It will be a while to get her stable and ongoing .She couldn't be in better hands. I think she is very unwell ,she went away for 2 -3 days and just came back tonight. I fed her and my stray black cat came in for his fed.they don't get on as he is a real male ,unneutered and think he's a feral/exdomestic cat possibly dumped or left behind when young he did the cat flap next door & got kicked out harshly so came into mine he was starving.. I kicked him out as there was a big cat fight ,mine hid under the bed eventually ,He has scooted out the flap but 5 minures he comes back with this low growl 'keep away' big bluff actually . So I fed him some of that shredded meat and he was one happy cat and he loves milk (I know it's not too good for their lungs apparently) but he drunk 2 bowls and got into the cat biscuits .He's sporadic though I never know when he'll turn up and now I'm allowed to pet him .I slipped him a dewormer tab and is now a pitch black nice cat. The Manx I think is too ill to save Petal needs to sleep but I can't get her out from under the bed . I'm too disabled to reach her ,I tried but shes found a good spot.Mean while I adopted Rufus an 8 year old mixed breed big like a lab. He's a softie ,loves food and likes me the source of delights .He has to sample tit bits off my plate I hand him or I risk losing the whole lot and he loves icecream & custard .Sorry to ramble but I'm in bit of a panic with Petal she needs out and in the cage when I can get her to my vet in Darfield . She had 3 lovely kittens all adopted 2 females with normal tails and a male a real Manx ,a little knub for a tail .He went to my best mates wife. I later thought Darn I shoulda kept him for Petal and us ........She had a good life sole charge I used to see her patrolling the territory and she never figured out a hedgehog we used to feed..............I got a pic somewhere...Oh well, I'll have to call someone I hope she doesn't leave me again.”
“The vets were amazing the whole time my dog was in their care. They kept me updated regularly with calls, texts, and photos, even at night. They were extremely helpful and affordable, and I’ll forever be grateful for the care my dog received.”
“My first time at this vets, and was very impressed with the service I got from all of the staff. Very caring. Also gave excellent advice in a non-judgemental way. My boy's foot pad was split open after a mountain adventure, it's the 3rd time he has had this type of injury, but the first time we have been told it isnt a food allergy! I am happy I made the decision to change to VetEnt, and Emma the vet couldn't have been lovelier. Highly recommend.”
“very good vet clinic. Nice and friendly staffs. Very happy experience to me and my kittens❤️”

“We have been sending our girl to Alameda for 2 years now and it’s her absolute favourite place to be! So much so she’s waiting at the door every morning and cry’s the whole way there!! Our girl goes for daycare everyday and we can never thank the team and Davina enough for giving our girl the space to burn her energy and a safe space to stay when we are away from home! I couldn’t recommend a better place and better people! Thank you all for the hard work you do, it doesn’t go unnoticed ❤️”
“Came here for my ringneck parrot who was shaking and had a vitamin deficiency. The staff know there stuff ✨ Jose Doo went the extra mile even checking in every few days!!”
