“Seriously one of the best indian restaurants in auckland! the onion bhaji, samosa chaat and lamb nawabi dishes were a particular hit in our family. The naan is to die for, buttery almost like roti, might not be too everyone’s taste but our kids couldn’t get enough of it. Looks a bit dated walking in but don’t be tricked, would highly recommend!”

“We ordered the Polo E Funghi which is a creamy chicken and mushroom fettuccine pasta, A half in half hot & spicy and the lot pizza, and 2 desserts; the lava cake and the apple crumble. All there food was delicious and we will be coming again.”

“Zheng Kee does the best Stewed Pork Dry Pot in Auckland that I've had so far. The pork is perfectly cooked and succulent, and the flavours are delicious. We also had their Octopus special which was delicious, however the portion was only average because the plate was so filled with chillies. The rest of the dishes are usually generous in though. Their rice is really tasty too. Their service is fast and the food comes out piping hot. We love this place for their authentic Chinese dishes.”

“This is some of the best Asian food I’ve ever eaten. We LOVE it here. Any of the mushroom dishes, butter prawns and mi goreng noodles is our go to. Don’t be put off if nobody’s here, I still don’t know why there’s not a queue down the street. Straight fire”

“Absolutely loved the Spider-Man cake we ordered for our son’s birthday! It turned out even better than we expected—beautifully designed and full of detail. Our little one was over the moon, it truly made his day! We were referred by a friend and so glad we went with this bakery. The taste was amazing too—moist, fresh, and not overly sweet. Great quality at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend giving them a try!”

I think it may be newer owners as the food is Indian and Pizza now which seems different to earlier reviews. They were also more than happy to make us a vegan meal. “Tucked in a shopping complex in Botany junction this is an excellent place for a family day out for dinner. The concept of cooking your own meat on a charcoal bbq is not new but always serves the purpose. The food choices are good. Tastes good. Some Korean wine also available. The cubicles are however small and the table fills up quite quickly with all the complementary items they serve with the meat. Love the ambiance. Parking is not a problem but can get busy over weekends. Service is great and staff is courteous and helpful.”
