“I'm from out of town, was passing through Mangere, spotted the takeaway and stopped to get a feed for the family. First, was very impressed at how clean the store was. Ordered a usual amount of food that we get from the takeaway back home, around $30. Oriental's prices were about the same as back home. But the amount of food they gave me was enormous. About twice as many chips as I was expecting! And they were good chips too. Very generous portion sizes.”

“My son started playing T-ball about 4-5 weeks ago & when he finished we decided to get dinner in Mangere Bridge. We couldn't decide what to buy so we just went off by a gut feeling to go with Butter Chicken. I'm glad we did cause it is absolutely yummy. We buy the two curry combo for our family (2x adults 3x kids) & it is more than enough for us. We sometimes have leftovers if my daughter doesn't eat it all. So now every Friday Butter Chicken Factory is our go to place for dinner.”

“First time visiting Greedy Cat Kitchen! I absolutely loved their beef brisket with potato; the beef was super tender! They also have tasty cold dishes and affordable drinks. “It's been nearly 2 years since we have been back. We thought we were at the wrong place as it looks like new owners not too sure. Anyway I ordered the steak and creamy mushroom plate. Looking at the other reviews on here for this same meal I must have been lucky as I enjoyed my meal, I had no complaints portions were massive the Mac was creamy and the chips was more then a scoop of chips you get at your local. Steak was done as requested (well done) not dry but juicy and not chewy. Worth the drive coming from out west as we do thank you!”

“Came here for the dinner buffet. For $25, it was very worth it! Food included crumbed fish, pork schnitzel, creamy chicken drumsticks, sausages and lamb ribs. All tasted very homely. The highlight was definitely the pastries! So crispy and warm. We also got the cheaper parking rates from the hotel which was a bonus as weekday city parking is usually pricey. Would highly recommend”

“Wow what an amazing place! First time in the staff Greeted me with a welcoming G'day. Unfortunately I'm gluten free (celiac) However this wasn't a problem as they had a few different opinions. The Kebab came out before I could sit down, To say the service was outstanding is an understatement. My first bite left me wondering if I should get up & order a second (the portion to price was definitely correct) it was absolutely delicious. This little store almost hidden away beat my expectation right out of the ball park, I will promise you one thing I will definitely be returning for more... Kind Regards, One very happy customer”

“Love this place. The girls that run it so a wonderful job at keeping up with what can be many customers all wanting something to eat and drink. Tried many things on the menu, loved them all but I'd have to say my favourites were the hot chips, by far the best I've had while travelling NZ and the BLAT Sandwich. Also the Carrot Muffins are divine. The coffee was also a must have for my morning routine. Look forward to coming back in the future.”
