“Best sushi out there would recommend”
“You will find real sushi prepared by Japanese chefs here. My guests really enjoyed the sushi package I got for the occasion.”
“Always a good experience buying my lamb rice/wrap here, their coffee is also good, and the couple always give a warm smile :)”
“Lovely food with vegetarian and vegan options”
“Very good Salmon donburi! Love them”
“Previously known as Lego Man, Greg the Sushi Man is famous for amazingly fresh, tasty sushi, which is made by his lovely Japanese wife. Excellent quality, customer service and always packed with humor.”
“friendly service with very delicious taste!!!”
“Food is yummy, need more sauce on kebab, not a huge range of sauce available either”
“A friend took me here for breakfast and it was beyond delicious! Coconut buns warm from the oven; yummy fa'ausi (taro in coconut caramel cream to die for). Massive choices of savouries and sweets, so I bought lunch to take home as well - a very hearty helping which will easily make 2 meals. It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten and I will be back again and again. A beautiful little family-run Pasifika secret (with an A Certificate) which deserves to be better known. Also easy on the budget in such difficult times.”
“I was pleasantly surprised with the food here. The big breakfast was so good. Usually when I see ciabatta on the menu it’s always hard to cut but omg this was the best, so buttery and so soft! The cabinet food was also great, classic NZ cream donut. I will be going back :)”
“What a great place to discover. This friendly bar and restaurant about 60 metres from Waiwera beach has the relaxed beach vibe in abundance. Inside there is a restaurant end with about 8 tables, then there is a bar area which opens into a covered outdoor area with pool table and pizza bar with wood fired pizzas. Service was friendly and functional and the business seems to be family run. Food was excellent. Best lamb shank I’ve had in ages with excellent flavours. Prawn salad was also very good. Beer was ice cold and they had a good collection of spirits as well as smoothies and non-alcoholic drinks. I think for me the relaxed atmosphere was what I enjoyed the most - like stepping into some place you’ve known all your life and instantly relaxing. Waiwera town feels a bit run down but the history with the hot pools (now closed) is interesting and it has retained its sleepy charm. If you’re going to Wenderholm consider lunch or dinner at Sugarloaf beach bar.”
“My first choice for shopping fruits and vegetables. Some fruits are not the freshest but okay if consumed within a couple of weeks. They used to have a very rude and dumb butcher a couple of years ago when I didn't want shop meat there, but now all are nice and friendly. Generally a nice place for produce and Asian foods.”
“My go to for good island food. Panakeke and chop suey for lunch atleast once a fortnight. Took a bag of Panakeke to a European party, and they were devoured.”
“Had a $15 takeaway plastic box on the buffet type ting and after having a little bit of everything on the buffet type ting, I now wish I bought a $20 box instead. Everything on the buffet type ting was full of flavour and tasted very authentic. 10/10 would eat more of everything on the buffet type ting when I go here again”
“Tasty Homely food Located right in the centre of the Auckland city CBD, just behind saravanaa bhawan , good option for vegetarian indian travellers. Food tastes yummy, just like indian street food, i felt like i am eating at my home.. kids loved the food too. Quite popular with locals. There is no dining place though, so you have to Take Away only. Qty is good and 1 dish is sufficient for 2 people ! Reasonably priced too !!”
“This place is a hidden gem. Been coming here for years with my partner, we were blown away by the Sichuan chicken (spicy and delicous) and it has kept the same great quality the whole time. Highly recommended. And the owner is really nice”
“I’ve been coming to Burger Bella Sunnyvale ever since they opened, and they’ve never missed. The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavour. I’ve seen some of the negative reviews, but most seem to be from Uber Eats deliveries — and that’s not the same as getting it straight from the store. Every time we pick up in person, it’s perfect. The owner is genuinely welcoming and makes you feel like family, which is why we’ve been loyal regulars from day one. Not to mention their generosity to my little niece we really do appreciate their kindness, as well as their team!!”
“Had dinner here the other night here indulging in some quality food. Never dissapoints with service everytime I come here. I ordered the king prawns, oysters, brocollini, flounder and eye fillet to share with my mother and we both left satisfied. Great value too if you have accorsplus so you can benefit from the dining discounts.”
“had such a great experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, The staff were super friendly and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in.”
“Food is yummy, need more sauce on kebab, not a huge range of sauce available either”
“This is my family’s go to local fish and chip place been coming here most of my life. Love the food! My mum love the wontons they do and I love the spring rolls! The service is Always friendly and warm. I think over the years they’ve recognised us and Always go above and beyond. Sharing a smile. Will always be our local place wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.”
“Great takeaway shop, well-price fish and chips. Picked up on our way to Wenderholm and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the staff was. Decent portion size too! Unsure why some of the others are expecting restaurant quality food at a takeaways shop.”
“I always get the same thing, chicken fried rice and sweet n sour pork. Been going for15 years and the consistency is always perfect. I did try the ginger chicken once, if you love lots of ginger (chopped into matchsticks type) then u will like it, but it wasn't for me. The family that own it are not your typical Western customer service where small talk is expected (because they are busy cooking), but they show their service by fast and consistent delivery and I'm ok with that!”
“This place was recommended to me by a friend in Auckland, when we were visiting Auckland. Amazing fiji style food we will definitely be stopping here every time we come up to Auckland. We ordered the sizzling lamb, chilli chicken, lamb chop suey and lamb fried rice It tasted so good. Definitely recommend this place to anybody that wants a good taste of fiji”
“I’ve had 3 interactions here, they have the best chips in New Zealand. The lady at the counter is friendly and welcoming to me. She was quick to get my order sorted too. I definitely recommend this place.”
“WOW! This food tastes like the food we had in India. Rich and complex curries, so delicious. This is the real deal. We had the Indian style butter chicken, which is exactly what we’ve been looking for. Not too sweet! Perfect! And the fish masala. The fish was fresh and the curry was rich and smoky. We always choose hot and it was definitely hot! Yum!!! A++++++”
“lovely restaurant, service is always super friendly. Donburi bowls are lovely”
“To eat an economical plus good and tasty Indian food, Rawat is the place where you should head too. I normally try the Non Veg combo with the choice of a non veg curry along with Naan and rice. The quantity is sufficient for a person. Naan is superb. As the name says, it's mostly a takeaway place, but there are few seats to help us for dine-in.”
