“Great range and friendly staff!”
“Love coming here to grab fruit and veges! So much cheaper and usually better quality than supermarket. We lived off the strawberries and blueberries during summer! They also sell sourdough bread which is a little pricey but very worth the price! We get it as a treat!”
“My go-to shop! They always have what I need even K-Bars...hehehe... Love having a short chitchat when I go in. Super lovely family and staff.”
“Friendly staff and good selection. Great to have a plastic-free option.”
“Great shop. Fair prices and great customer service. Our local store highly recommend!”
“I just went to get bulk mince for kebab khobedeh and they were so generous with a complementary extra tandoori chicken. I will be posting on how good it is later.”
“Super friendly team always kind and smiling. Top tier customer service with a special shout out to James for memorising mine and my hubby’s “usual” and making our visits short sweet and smooth. Appreciate you. Thanks Team!!”
“Very helpful staff. Great products. Outstanding customer service. After an online order was lost by the courier company, Bianca and the sales team followed up promptly and organized a new shipment after receiving confirmation from the courier. Highly recommend Barton McGill.”
“Wonderful local Whangaparaoa shop. The selection of cheese, licorice and now chocolate is very impressive. We love visiting this shop often to buy our cheese and chat with friendly stuff.”
“Presentation good cleanliness good price good. Fruits and verges are only a small portion of this store, it actually specialises in Asian grocery. Worth checking out”
“Aladdin's cave of goodies tucked away behind a rather unassuming exterior. For a relatively small shop the range of spirits in particular puts many larger and better known shops to shame. Small but nice range of quality ports as well. Pricing is competitive. Definitely worth a visit.”
“This shop has allowed me to settle permanently in NZ. When I'm homesick or just craving a taste of UK, they always have what I need. It's far cheaper and easier to pop to Browns Bay than buy a plane ticket back to the UK! The range of special items is amazing, and lovely personal service where they make an effort to help you find what you want. Real service, it's awesome. Thanks so much!”
“I’m based in Wellington, and most of the big name companies online couldn’t be bothered with my $2.3K order – I guess it was too much hassle for them. They were all chasing the quick buck. But these legends :) Super responsive from the get go, happy to help, and they sorted everything out without a fuss. They delivered my 230kg Aqua One Brilliance tank perfectly, no drama at all. Even though I’m far away, I’m seriously impressed with how they handled everything. I’d happily buy from them again any day.”
“Great place for food. Very authentic restaurants and good service. It is very much international cuisine and the quality of restaurants are very good. Expensive though.”
“Excellent wine selection, great service, usually wine is ready to pick up same or next day!”
“Torbay Fruit shop offers a fantastic range of fresh produce and organic goods. I'm consistently impressed by the quality and variety available. From locally sourced veggies to specialty organic products, they have everything I need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to assist. Shopping here is a pleasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality organic options”
“Been coming to this shop since it’s opened. I could do delivery but I choose to come to the shop as service has been always great even though I stop there for few minutes to shop.”
“Great store they have all your needs. Friendly service”
“The grocery store was very clean and organized, everything was easy to find.”
“I've been amazed everytime I've gone into woofles, not only is the staff so welcoming and friendly, they're also super knowledgeable. Recently I decided to put my 3 dogs and Cat on raw food, one of my dogs is hypoallergenic so we started her on tripe to improve the gut health and horse meat - already there's been a massive improvement with her skin, mood and coat. I wouldn't have been confident enough to make such a change but the staff at woofles eased my mind with answering all my questions and sharing their own personal experience with their animals. You can't beat a personal touch like that! Ordering online too is a breeze! Would highly recommend anyone to go here for their furbabies!”

The store is well organized, and the staff is friendly and always to help.highly recommend this place to anyone looking to bring a taste of Sri Lanka into their kitchen.I'll definitely be coming back!”
“Love the food, love the vibe. Fun to go around and eat your brunch with family and friends.”
“A+service and speed. I wish other companies were as professional and efficient. Will definitely buying all my products through here going forward. Thank you.”
“Hisari Supermarket is one of the best Middle Eastern supermarkets on the North Shore. They stock a great range of Iranian, Turkish, and Arab goods, along with occasional Russian and Greek products. You’ll also find a few New Zealand-made items, but what really makes them stand out is their bakery—you can get fresh Turkish bread and other traditional breads straight from the oven, which I absolutely love. They also offer a great selection of olives, nuts at very reasonable prices, and some hard-to-find Middle Eastern essentials like kebab skewers, cow and goat feta, and much more. If you’re familiar with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine, this is definitely your go-to spot in the North Shore. The sellers are friendly and welcoming, especially Hisari himself, who always makes the experience more enjoyable. You’ll feel comfortable browsing and discovering new flavours. The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of items, though it’s worth keeping an eye on the expiry dates—some products may be close to or past their date, but they’re usually happy to offer a good discount if that’s the case. Overall, a fantastic spot for anyone who loves Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food and culture.”
“Love this bin Inn.. excellent service and amazing range of products. Their herbal tea selection is fantastic and includes some brands I have not seen anywhere else like Herbal Remedy.”
“Great selection of wines. Love the beer filling service. Great way to try new varieties. Selection changes regularly. Very helpful and knowledgeable team.”
“Yerba Mate. There's a big sign in the window and a good selection on the shelves. Chinese New Year (Dragon) on 10 Feb 2024. Start here first for something unique.”
“Always great selection, with my favourite - the rotating sweets section! Brings me back to 7/11 in Japan. Staff friendly and always helpful.”
