“Cannot express how amazing this school is. Talented and personable staff who are open to being called by their first names and who communicate to pupils on a equal level. By the time you graduate you'd have a friend-worthy relationship with a number of teachers (still to this day have lots of Facebook). Students are encouraged to step up to the mantle and mature early on, and there is a noticable level of maturity difference when they travel to interschool events and house parties (when you're a bit older ;) ). There is room for students to form tight friendships that will continue on for years after school ends while recieving a great education as well. I look back on my high school years with a rose tinted hue, nothing but glorious nostalgia and feelings of warmth when I remember how fantastic those years were.”

“If you're thinking about wanting to study in the city of Auckland for animation or film, Do not enroll here because you'll be suffering from success. I mean seriously the staff is too kind, the tutors understand your struggles and do their best to help you succeed with your assignments, And worst but certainly not least, THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. I am so disappointed and recommend NOT to enroll in this place of study.”

“It is a private high school optimized for college entrance. It offers one of the few IB courses in New Zealand, and the majority of students are of Asian descent. Accommodation is poor and facilities are poor, but student achievement levels are among the best in New Zealand. The school's curriculum focuses on IB and has a university-going and academic-oriented atmosphere. Graduate university outcomes are generally among the best in New Zealand, but due to the small number of students there are gaps between graduate groups each year. Graduates go to university in various places including New Zealand, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and all over the world. However, from the point of view of children studying abroad, I do not recommend it due to poor dormitories. However, there is no problem as long as one of the parents lives together.”

“I recently hosted a concert at this venue, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The venue manager was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, making sure everything ran smoothly. The event space was well-maintained and had great acoustics. We highly recommend this venue for any event!”

“April 2023 As a proud former pupil of Otahuhu College it is always a great day when I visit the college. Although the teachers from my time have passed or moved on, it is great to see and learn that the teachers of today are passing on to the current pupils, similar values and traditions that l learnt in my time. The current students are equally proud of their school house as I was. As the school motto KIA TAMATANE (Be strong like Tamatane) says.”

“The education facilities here are second to none. The school has great quality in teaching technologically wise. Ormiston Senior and Ormiston Junior are separated by a single road but are pretty much the same. I visited during early January 2021 when they were renovating the front entrances but I did get a feel for the environment. Highly recommended education facility.”
