   I've studied at a reputable university and taken classes at various institutions, and Yoobee is quite impressive. I don't know about other courses, but the Master of Information Analytics is great.

   I studied the Level 5 Animation Diploma here for one year. What I experienced was a whole year of hidden reports, silent backstabbing, and complete dishonor. Here, you can get reported for something as small as touching another student on the shoulder. Teachers will not answer your questions unless they are strictly about the current lesson — any real help or guidance? Forget it. And the worst part? They will deliberately wait until the very last day to tell you that you’re being excluded, just to make sure you can’t react or prepare. This is by far the worst school in Auckland. If you care about your creativity, individuality, and self-respect, stay far away from here. You will get way better skills, knowledge, and respect from free tutorials on YouTube than from this place. Save your time, save your money, and save yourself the pain.

   If you're thinking about wanting to study in the city of Auckland for animation or film, Do not enroll here because you'll be suffering from success. I mean seriously the staff is too kind, the tutors understand your struggles and do their best to help you succeed with your assignments, And worst but certainly not least, THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. I am so disappointed and recommend NOT to enroll in this place of study.

   Started the course (software engineering) recently and its been a down hill from the start. Course is bland and full of empty info, I would recommend MRHQ or Enspiral Dev Academy instead, they actually put in effort for their students. On top of that we had all the students waiting for a teacher that did not even turn up, we were all asking for help and he just aired the requests. Save yourself and go to another institute that values you. Update - The course content is getting better and they very much push asynchronous learning, if you wanna get better at managing your own time/learning. I wouldnt come here for this course regardless.

   Just completed the 7 week online graphic design course with Yoobee. Whilst the content covered off was comprehensive, no textbook or reference guide was provided for the content, meaning that if you need to check how to do something, you need to wade through 3 hours of video lesson content to find it. Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator are technical and finicky, if you do something in the wrong order it doesn't work, and each program does things slightly differently. Having a reference guide where you can quickly see the steps and work out where you went wrong is in my opinion essential. Instead, the lessons consist of the tutor showing you something on screen once, asking you to repeat the steps whilst they're there and expecting you will always remember how to do that after the course ends (without any notes short of what you manage to scribble down in between following instructions). Whilst doing the course, I learned that Adobe have "Classroom" books for each of their programs, which give you exercises to do to train you on each program (RRP $130 each). With these you will forever more have notes that you can refer back to if you get stuck, for a fraction of the price. TLDR: Do I think the Yoobee tutors are knowledegable? Yes. Did I learn how to use these programs? Yes. Was it the best use of my time and money? Definitely not. Buy the Adobe Classroom books instead. You'll save yourself about $1000, will essentially do the same exercises as well as having textbooks to refer to in future. If you're the sort of person who prefers having things explained to you in person then do the Yoobee course. Or else check out Youtube where you can find a ton of design tutorials and answers to most of your design questions. It's worth noting also, that you'll need to pay for an Adobe licence on top of the course costs. Make sure you seek out the "student" version to save yourself a lot of money.
