If you want a Middle eastern/Chinese bold flavor but not overpowering this is good place to eat. Serving is good for sharing and the taste is quite distinct than the normal spice house restaurant. Though the service needs improvement. The ambiance is simple and have a Middle Eastern vibe.
This was my first time having Xinjiang food, and I absolutely loved it. I didn’t know what to expect before coming here, the lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned — juicy, tender, and full of flavor without any gaminess. The hand-grabbed rice was comforting and fragrant, with each grain soaked in delicious lamb flavor and spices. Everything tasted fresh, bold, and authentic.
Absolutely loved my first visit here! Everything was delightful, and it definitely won’t be my last.
Came for lunch, then returned same day for dinner! The skewers, buns, drinks and noodles are all amazing, even better than some Xinjiang restaurants back in China. It’s a little more expensive than the average Chinese restaurant but the quality of ingredients are so much better, well worth a visit.
Lovely Xinjiang style food in Dominion Rd. Stopped in for lunch and it didn't disappoint. Had me thinking of my time working in China with lovely homemade yoghurt drink and tasty lamb kebabs. Definitely recommend this place, great food and service in a cosy little shop. Decor is simple, but it's the food that counts.
Fantastic lunch on Uyghur food is similar to Afgan or Iranian food. Big plates for sharing. Real yummy hunks of meat on a delicious bed of rice, and the dumplings are delicious too.
One of the most incredible places. The taste is honestly like no other. Chinese with a distinctive middle Eastern twist to it. The lamb is their speciality and the dumplings is really not like anything else. The seasoning and flavours feels otherworldly. Not to mention the texture of the noodles and the wrapper. Just right.
Service : I want to give 5 stars to the 1st person that serves us. She's very friendly and very suggestive. She helped us choose the menu as this is our 1st time come here. Sadly, the food taste is not to our likeness. I love the chicken that we order, it come with noodles in it. The noodles taste good. I like it very much but overall I have to give the food only 3.5 stars. After we finish the face, the reaction of the girl that serves us is so empty, and it's just giving an unwelcoming vibe. Overall I'm satisfied but if you want to try new dish I recommend this restaurant but don't put your expectations high.
We had The Taste of Silk Road dish, taste sensation! Worth the 30 mins wait time, the owner ensured we were inform of the wait time at the time of ordering. We loved it, meats cooked to perfections, so juicy and perfectly seasoned, the rice and dumplings were authentic, pickled carrots was refreshing. This dish was perfect portion for 3-4 adults. Friendly service and great to see the owner showing such great warmth and care to his customers, very accommodating. We would definitely return again or order delivery. Amazing!
