I had good Chinese food from this restaurant. They have quite a few vegetarian options. Food was cooked fast. My Mapo tofu with rice lunch combo plate is large. It's pretty tasty.
Very nice quiet spot for late night dinner. Delicious food, very polite service. Language barrier but they are very understanding and amazing at knowing what you need before you can ask. Sweet and sour pork was sweeter than I expected but amazing all the same. Highly recommend Google maps was a bit confusing, they are on the corner, not inside the doors.
We like eating here at Potstickers because they offer affordable meals with generous servings, and the food is served quickly. However, we noticed that the customer service wasn’t very welcoming. The woman in uniform just served the food without a smile or saying “enjoy,” and when we paid, she didn’t say thank you just gave a thumbs up. For us, small gestures like these are important, especially in a restaurant.
Tucked up a laneway - and full of Aucklands Asian community this is an authentic good value place for a feed. Its staff are friendly ( albeit over worked) and the kitchen output is great. Possibly not the place for a romantic dinner for two but ABSOLUTELY the place for an authentic modern chinese food value meal in cbd Auckland - no tourists
Amazingly delicious Chinese food honestly priced. Portions are big so if you order onr main with one starter it would be sufficient for 2 We ordered one Black pepper beef with 2 steam rice and one plate veg spring rolls. Total spent 50 New Zealand dollars.
It's a wonderful surprise. The food was amazing. The portion was huge, and the price was very affordable. Will definitely visit again!
Love the place which is comfy and spacious. The concept is the host is giving you a piece of paper and pencil which you filled up w the menu number and quantity. Self hot black tea and cold water station. The food portion is generous which can be shared between 2 people for 1 order. The braise pork i wish it could be more infused w spices overnight. The sauce is on sweet side ..love the quail egg flavour. Overall it is a good dish for 15 dollar. The sticky rice dumpling , i wish there is more meat in the feeling than rice .the rice is on sweet side. I would try other dumplings or xiao.long pao next time to indulge more meat. The place is definitely the hidden gem on swanson which i would come back for more when in cbd area.
The $15 meals are huge, great value for money. I really enjoyed the chicken but wasn’t loving the pork belly and leek. Busy and very good service.
one of the best eats in town in my opinion. big portions, enough for two meals for the light eaters out there. the food has also been consistently delicious for the past two years ive been going. my favs would have to be the sweet and sour pork combo, the flavoured fried chicken meal and wonton soup.
My partner and I love this place! It's our go-to restaurant and we've been dining here quite often for over a year now and have never been disappointed. Great value for money, food tastes great, 10/10.
