“Riverhead Montissori is and has been an amazing daycare for my three children. Reminiscent of a kindy, with a well loved environment and wholesome teaches, while still maintaining the child/teacher ratio and morning routine of a traditional Montissori daycare. The centre is well run and flexible, Rachel in admissions is seemingly always available and accomodating. Due to its community values and small country setting I feel that my children have very personalised care. For our family in particular we appreciate that there is always a very calm and happy atmosphere at drop off, I feel that this encourages my children to start a piece of work and allow me to leave without them getting overwhelmed or sad. My children also enjoy the mix of ages within the classrooms, being able to learn from those older than them and care/teach those who are younger. We cannot recommend Riverhead Montissori enough.”

“I was a bit worried about moving my sensitive 1-year-old to a new daycare after she didn't settle at the last one. But Lollipops Birkenhead has been amazing for both of us! The staff are super understanding and gentle, which has really helped her feel safe and happy there. The teachers are so patient and take the time to calm her down when she's feeling overwhelmed. Plus, she gets to do all sorts of fun and educational activities, even at her young age. I love the regular photo updates, too! I'm really grateful for the caring environment at Lollipops Birkenhead. It's been a great choice for my little one, and I appreciate how much the staff care about making sure every child feels loved and supported. I'd definitely recommend it!”

“My daughter who is goin to turn 2yrs old soon is attending this day care from last year. She enjoys to be here every day. You wll have huge support from not only teachers but from manager and adminstrator too. These team is lovely and energitic. You can keep calm and stressfree after leaving your child here. They know and will keep you updated of everything so you dont feel like your loosin connection w your child for those hours. “Hands down, the best childcare centre in Auckland. Large format, heaps of parking, amazing, experienced teachers who connect with your child and constantly go above and beyond. From the moment you step in the centre, you're greeted with a smile and the vibe is very comforting and calm. The best thing about this centre is they have dedicated, separate rooms for ALL age groups so children under 1 have 1 room, children between 1 and 2 have a separate room and vice versa. This enables children to get the absolute best environment to learn at their own pace and flourish. There are 5 separate rooms for children and each one is heavily equipped to provide the best possible care for your child. Highly recommended!”

“The large grassy area is lined with paths and trees. It leads to the Memorial Steps from the carpark. the steps lead to the bistro area with the Acacia Cottage. There is quite a large area to run around and play or take photos, particularly at the base of the different trees.”

“Hi. I've worked voluntarily here for 8 months. This op shop is by far the best. The shop is beautifully presented and the wide range of items that are available are simply outstanding and of excellent quality. I would recommend to anyone looking for preloved items to shop here. I'm speaking from a customers perspective not because I work here. Come and take a look. Claire”

“Great ELC. Highly recommended. I chose this centre because of the amazing staff/ kaiakos in the under 2yrs old room. I could see immediately that the care they give the children is quality and genuine. Staff encouraged transitional visits until I was comfortable. The centre is always clean. My child is always happy to attend. Great outdoor area for the babies with sandpit and covered deck, so they aren't stuck inside all day or sharing with the older kids. No screens in the under 2yrs room - Was a positive for me. The Kaiako's always set up fun new activities and I love that they do messy play activities even with the little ones.”

“Very nicely maintained and curated small park in the middle of the busy Takapuna area. There is a decent sized kids play area along with white a few benches to sit and relax. The canopy cover is pleasent and refreshing. Public toilets are also available in the park. The location is easily accessible from anywhere in Takapuna.”

“It’s my daughter’s first day but the visit is the best visit I have had at a daycare I love the way they do things at the centre. The teachers/reception seem so genuinely friendly and a small detail that I absolutely appreciate is her name was already on the slot where she put the bag she has been to another daycare, didn’t have as much of a good experience as we did here at piwaka so team you guys impressed a mother who is anxious about all this stuff !
